Why stuff is a good buy is brilliant! That's what people need to hear! The rigged casino is gonna crash and burn, and before it does, everybody should have a good producer. I really don't think it makes all that much difference where a guy buys down here. If gold and silver producers are gonna see a double, a triple, a quad or better, how much difference does it really make if you bought at .85 vs 1.00 ? That's the way I see it. I bought some Bear creek mining today. some SVM the other day. ASM is down near the bottom zone. some bargains, as JCM would call them....Bargains at the 2014 bottom zone.

I wouldnt mind buying some hecla as a core holding IF HL would fall way down to test the bottoms again.

ok, Bob.... its too sensitive for you to deal with, why? because there is some IHUB ICON or the IHUB system is run by somebody as a business interest, and they allow certain things and dont want certain things....whatever it is, I can try to do better.

Instead of being nervous about what Some pumper might feel.... why not recognize that I might be saving some investors alot of wasted fleeced money as the share price plunges back down, like I forecsted.....

You want to run a pleasant forum. nothing wrong with that. I want to do good trading, and I use charts to help me. I can keep my charts to myself or share them with folks.
When some pumper comes in AT THE WRONG TECHNICAL TIME....and pumps it up...I dont really want to sit by, and allow bad Timing to be promoted.
Think about this next thought and see if it has any value to you. Good trading requires 2 things....a good fundamental stock....AND the right Timing for trading.
BOTH things are necessary. The pumper comes in with the Fundamental story....nothing wrong with that. The technical chartist comes in with the Timing. I was saying The BAA Timing is NOT good for buying last week...and this week is showing why.
IF you dont want me to offer that kind of help. I can try to say goodbye.

and its not a vendetta I have against BAA or any promoter....I have contradicted many folks about other stocks, just the other day someone posted about some miner and I looked at the chart and said.... hold on there for a second... I hear what you are saying Tom, but we mustn't loose sight of the fact that we can't "protect" people and tell them what to buy or when to sell. Not only am I not smart enough to do it, that's not our job or role.

I try to keep our stable of good companies current so there is always a "short list" of companies to investigate if someone wants to.

I WANT people to post mining and metals related stuff on the M+M Board. That's our primary function. After all, where better to post Mining stuff LoL!

BAA has been on the Streamer List for at least two years now. Good company then, good company now. They've had a heck of a run, and a guy could do a lot worse buying Banro on a good pull back even today.

Please don't take that as a criticism, I just don't want to alienate people from bringing material to the board. That's the main thing. Even if they are pumpers. We'll see right through the lightweights.

Experiment: What's the difference between chart function and image function ?

Same gold chart using image function the chart function, and chart function with the 7 digit delete variation. I Think the image function freezes it in time and the chart function allows it to update. We'll what happens this afternoon when the markets open in Sydney!

That's great 123tom that really is. You picked right up on it. Do you remember when I said there is "an education" in that simple image code [img][/img] ?

There really is.

That's the way almost everything works on IHUB. .

The bracketing and the / to end the command are the key to the IHUB tool chest.


/b = end bold
/i = end Italic
/image = end image
/red = end red
/u = end underline

When you want to bold a word, just highlight the word or words you want to embolden, and then hit the Bold button. In the preview mode, you will see the exact same kind of bracketed command in this case b, with the end command /b in the brackets. YOu can double bold by doing it twice around the same word See what I mean

I can't show you, with the brackets because if I wrote it out that way it would execute the command!

Same thing with italic. Highlight the word or words you want in Italics, click the Italic button, and when you hit Preview, you'll see our bracketed command i with the terminating /i in brackets.

You might play around with and experiment with the features. They really add a lot of POP to a post. They make the post stand out, especially if the reader doesn't know how to do it.

That's one of the things I try to do with the M+M Board. I try to make it interesting for readers to come there by use of predictable recurring themes (PICTURE OF THE DAY), gimmicks like the emoticons, and illustrations, bold, color, and stuff like that.

Crafting the post is an art form. Most people don't want to spend a lot of time on the post and try to write it as quick as they can. A good post using all the tricks takes a little more time, but sure captures the readers attention! It's more fun too!

Line code is determined by the brackets. What ever you but between the brackets is what executes, until it sees the forward slash sign which terminates the operation.

The commands: notice I used 3 commands here, bold, italic, and underlined!

These are what some of the commands look like. The bold command doesn't show up without with something between the brackets.

Note how the brackets bracket the command, and the / cancels the command.

That's how most of that stuff comes together!

if you get the bracket concept you are 90% of the way there!

In the examples below, insert the missing [ at the front of the string and it will execute the command.

i]aaaaa will become italic

u]aaaaa will become underlined

Capturing the image is accomplished with a right click. I use the Firefox browser, so when I right click on an image, one of the choices is Copy Image Location. Click that, and you will get a code similar to above, but specific to the image you are capturing.

For now, just copy the code above and insert it right where the cursor is blinking between the [img][/img]

It should look like this:

ok, I cant find Any word on the screen that says "IMAGE" to click on. or any word link that says "clipboard" so thats where I need to begin. what screen do I go to to find the 'Image' word.

I also wanted to show you how to insert photos, charts, and emoticons (if you wanted to learn), which is why I asked if you had ever used the Image function the other day. They amplify the presentation of a post. Besides, I might not always be able to post the PICTURE OF THE DAY and it would be nice if you knew how.

I actually was referring to my espresso maker....I have a Gaggia classico...its a good home espresso machine cost about 350 dollars....it used to be made in Italy,like it should. and years ago was a good machine. I never had this kind of problem. But now after 10 years I needed a new one. turns out they are now made in Romania...ok...lets give em a chance. It looks the same, but Im noticing this new one is doing a strange thing. The cup handle with the cup doesnt always slide into the unit easy. sometimes it becomes very hard to fit into place. why does it do that.most times it works ok, and slides into place easy. but sometimes it just wont fit in without extreme effort, like all my strength to twist it into place. theres a problem somewhere. I believe what is happening as I examine the pattern....like looking at chart patterns...LOL.... whats happening is that Whhen the metal heats up, and it gets very hot.... the cup handle wont fit in...because the metal is expanding ... there is some flaw in the quality of the metal used in this unit. the metal is expanding too much.
If I send it back, it will cost me 40 dollars for shipping. its not worth it. I have to just figure out when to fit it into place, before it heats up or whatever....

Communications are not private in the absolute sense, but it's the next best thing. It's like having a party line in a town with only 2 residents. It's pretty obvious nobody has come to this board for years so any postings back and forth would be more or less under the radar. Somebody would have to go WAY out of their way to eavesdrop LoL! That's mainly an archival board and there's very little discussion. Makes for a little faster retrieval of info, because there isn't much chit chat.

Dr. King Schultz is up there mainly because I haven't had any reason to remove him. He's a nice guy and I don't want to hurt his feelings by implying the removal is "for cause." He's German and in a different time zone, so we wouldn't see much in regular hours.

I have sent him a couple of chatty PM's as a sign all's well inter-personally speaking, and when another candidate such as JCM or ? shows back up I'll broach the subject at that time.

We are allowed 6 mods per board, so at this point I have to take one off before I can add a new one. I wanted to get you on there sooner but there wasn't an "open" slot. When NYBob couldn't tone it down after repeated requests that he do so, I removed him and that's what opened up your slot.

It seems like some of our newer folks are more into TA than previously. Posting the summaries to the home board of the company I profile has brought some "new blood" to the M+M board and as you have probably noticed, they have made passing mention of TA, at least a few times in the comments.

And YES it does seem like we are waiting for the next catastrophic disaster, and YES it coming. I feel like it's the Friday before Pearl Harbor OMG! It's nutz!

You got it! Absolutely correct ! There is no company. Nobody ever goes here. There is no reason to. That in effect gives you private messaging capabilities at least with me or anybody else you share this location with. You don't want to officially "mod" the board. You don't want to call any attention to it at all. I must emphasize it's not totally private since this is a public communication, but if nobody has been here since 2005 it's doubtful that pattern will change.

I put this in my favorites so I can see any time you post. If you do the same, you will see any time I post.

These old boards are handy. I use them for storage, templates, and all kinds of stuff. I want easy access to information (within the IHUB "network") without having to go to another site to retrieve it. I've got 4 or 5 of these old boards I use all the time!

Theoretically, you could have one old board for each IHUB friend you would be likely to send a PM to, and get around having to pay for the privilege! It's not as good as the PM capabilities you get with a paid membership, but it's better than nothing!
