Canico Resource Corp. "Canico" (TSX-CNI) is a Canadian - based junior resource company focused on the development of the Onça-Puma nickel laterite project located in north central Brazil. The same management and technical team from Sutton Resources involved in the exploration and development of the Bulyanhulu gold deposit and Kabanga nickel projects which were acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation for US$ 353 million is focused on repeating this success. Canico offers investors: -- An experienced management team with a proven track record of value enhancement; -- An investment in one of the world's highest grade nickel laterite deposits situated in Brazil, a country with a long and friendly mining history; -- A partnership with Inco Limited, the world's most experienced nickel producer; and -- A unique mid-tier nickel mining opportunity that could have a 30 year or more mine life, producing in excess of 50 million lbs of nickel annually at low cost. -- The Company was formed by the merger in February, 2002 of Oliver Gold Corporation and Hastings Resource Corp. The Company currently has 26,300,357 common shares outstanding. Canico is focused on the development of its main asset, the Onça-Puma nickel project. Canico acquired the project in early 2003 after completing the terms of an agreement with Inco. Inco received 18% of Canico's then issued share capital and has the right to participate in future equity issues to maintain that interest.
