Chemspec International Limited,with headquarters in Shanghai and four plants in adjacent provinces, is a leading China-based contract manufacturer of highly engineered specialty chemicals. In particular,we are the largest manufacturer of fluorinated specialty chemicals in China. Based on sales, we approximately have a market share of 25% of the domestic market in 2008, according to a Frost & Sullivan report. Our specialty chemicals, typically highly engineered chemicals, are used as building blocks for more advanced chemicals or used to enhance the performance of the end products of our clients. We have a client pool from from various industries including electronics, pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. To better align with our clients strategically, we also offer our specialty in process design and process development, which result in more efficient and rapid production of specialty chemicals that are incorporated into their own products and thereby enhance the position of our customers.

 

With our four flexible and responsive manufacturing facilities, we are equipped to produce specialty chemicals in both small batches for development stage projects and in large-scale amounts for commercialized projects, according to our customers’ needs. We believe that our strong research and development capabilities, efficient management of the manufacturing process and proven track record give us a competitive advantage over our PRC-based competitors.
