It was released last evening in French, and the news probably had a lot to do with CYNI devying the market plunge yesterday and posting a nice uptick.

CYNI starting to look pretty good.

It's Monday and the dumping has come to a halt -- now a little buying is showing up reaching a high of $3.71 so far. It looks like that $3.40 will turn out to be bottom for this news cycle. I managed to get a bunch of those low shares and have added considerably to my position.

I did a lot of dd over the weekend on SDNs and Cyan, and there seems to be a lot of big-boy competion from the likes of Cisco, Oracle and HP. Cyan's Blue-Planet software seems to be the company's niche leading in innovation and efficiency. Plus there are a ton of networks needing upgrading. Hey, if one of those big boys wants to get a lead over the others, Cyan could sure add to a company's SDN offering.

You're right smiley, volume is almost back to normal -- implying selling is drying up.

That is half of the equation for getting a bounce, with the other half being some buying. Without any further news from the company, the only motivation to buy (or to cover a short) is the oversold condition and that will disappear soon. I would like to see a bounce to $4, but I'd settle for just staying between $3.6-$3.8 until that Feb 4 earnings report. Short covering alone won't bounce this stock since CYNI has a small short interest (1.23M as of 12/13 out of an OS of 47M).

For a real WAG, I've seen a lot of these bad news bears try to get a little lift before the ER with a positive PR. The bad news on the rev miss is now factored in, and a little PR on a new customer or contract would sure go a long way in dulling the sp pain before earnings.

Good day of trading so far. Volume is low, pretty much dried up! Fantastic. I am assuming because earnings is imminent and investors are holding.

I hope your stock price projections are accurate and come to pass.

By three days after bad news, we should see if the bottom is in. Three days is time enough for the ripple effect to be fully factored in. By the 4th day, volume should be returning back(less than 50 over normal) and the bottom should be in.

For CYNI on Friday, I am looking for a higher high and a higher low than Thursday ($3.60 and $3.40 respectively). This will be a clear indication to me that $3.40 was the bottom for this bad-news cycle. If that happens we should hover around 3.6-3.8 until the ER or other PR's come out. The overall market will also affect the trading, but $3.4 should hold as support. If we don't get a higher low and high today, than I'm not sure how far down we will go and all bets are off.

Yeah, this is starting to drag down my portfolio. I'm not worried because I know I will get my $3.60 back sometime. But now it looks like it might take longer than I expected, and my chances of playing a nice quick rebound bounce are getting less.

Wow, this is not looking good so far. How far will this stock fall? Yikes! I would be lying if I told you that I am not concerned. My other concern is the volume. There seems to be quite a bit of selling, which I believe is a signal for dumping. There is no real bid support either.

Oh well, just wait and see.

smiley; I agree it's discounted a lot down here at $3.5 but I don't see this going much higher than $4.5 until we get some more news on their success in getting new customers.

If this morning CYNI holds that $3.46 low from yesterday, my guess is that it will be the last of the sub $3.50 sp for a while. Thursday is the third day after a major drop and the last day that any margin calls should be cleared. Just a WAG that $3.5 will be support from here on.

I think the stock, as it is traded currently, is heavily discounted, taking into account expected missed revenue targets, as was announced by the company just days ago. The value of the stock based on aggressive revenue projections was over $5 and according to some analysts it was believed to be worth $8. Read the articles associated with this stock.

Let's see how this baby trades tomorrow and Friday. I am down .15. I hope the only direction is up from here.

I just got into CYNI late yesterday and this morning. So far my dd has turned up that this is fairly valued in the $3's based on the news two nights ago. The company has good SOTA products, a great potential, but has been a one-trick pony out of the gate -- or should I say a dying horse out of the gate. The CEO realized this a couple Q's ago and has been trying to spread out his customer base. That effort should show up thru 2014. I'm interested to see how he is controlling costs with the lower revs. He could be profitable at $100M per year if he reigns in costs and builds his diverse customer base over time.

I'm down a dime on this stock right now, but believe that the $3.45 low earlier today will be the low until the ER. I'm not interested in selling this stock any time soon, because IMO Cyan's virtual hub + software are the next generation in efficient, cost-effective networking. There will constantly be a lot of network upgrading going on.

Can someone tell me what the hades is going on with this stock?! This level is the lowest yet and I'm not sure whether to hold or take loss. Really disappointing.
