Don't you wish that just once you could see yourself getting screwed over before it's too late? Oh, wait, your alias was born on the same day of the Equitilink 8-K. Your 35 million share fee only turned out to be worth less than $700. Your suffering and loss made it possible for the rest of us to have the chance at redemption. If you hadn't bet the farm and ended up with the shaft there might be many more who lost all. NEW YORK (Reuters) - Knight Capital Group Inc. (NasdaqNM:NITE - News), one
of the largest traders of Nasdaq-listed shares, on Monday said its asset
management unit faces possible civil charges from the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission over possible improper trading activity.

Knight said Deephaven Capital Management LLC and a former Deephaven employee
received "Wells notices" from the SEC.

It said the notice to Deephaven indicates that SEC staff may recommend civil
action alleging that the unit violated securities laws that are aimed at
stopping fraud.

A call to the SEC was not immediately returned. Knight disclosed the Wells
notices in an SEC filing. It did not name the former employee.

Knight said the case concerns trading activity associated with private
investments in public equities, or PIPEs, from June 1, 1999 through March
2004.

In a letter to investors that Knight released in the filing, Deephaven said
it believes the Wells notice results from an industrywide review that began
last summer related to PIPEs transactions.

Deephaven said its PIPEs activities represented an "insignificant portion"
of assets held by its Market Neutral Master Fund LP, which discontinued such
investments by August 2004.

A Wells notice indicates the SEC may accuse the recipient of wrongdoing, and
give the recipient a chance to respond. Deephaven said it is cooperating
fully.

Knight is based in Jersey City, New Jersey. Deephaven has offices in

I thought the price went down because DFLR did a reverse split and then dumped over 4 billion shares into the market to raise money to pay Chappy and Thompson for the option on the mine and pay Chapyy $510,000 salary. What rock have you been hiding under? And you say Thompson is clean even after he and Chappy went out on their own to gain controling interest in the mine, sell DFLR a 4 month option for $300,000 and then pull it out from under DFLR and sell it to another company while DFLR's properties sit vacant and they can't pay the mortgages on them. That's funny...a shell of a company running a negative cash flow business, shelling out $300,000 for nothing, making shareholders pay a $296,000 fine for Chappy while he pays himself $510,000 and you are blaming who again for their dismal share price? What did you say the reason was again? Market Makers was it? You are a joke. DFLR has nothing. Can't afford to even pay Chappy the $4200/month cash for his consulting services yet it's the fault of the Market Makers? Seriously S&T, you look really really stupid at the moment. The SEC, Heroes or Goats-Very Powerful...

Bottom line, the SEC will have the chance to become the "Heroes" or the "Goats" in resolving the naked short issue. The longer the SEC go on with not fairly addressing the naked shorting issues, the worse the SEC will look. PERIOD!

Imagine going to the bank to get some money out to spend on food at the grocery store. Instead of money, the bank gives you a piece of paper (a share) to represent a certain amount of money in value (or credit) that you are requesting to use at the store. Now, when you go to the store, the store allows you to buy food under the promise and trust that you will “deliver” the money in the amount shown on that piece of paper, or share or credit if you want to call it. Now imagine going back to that store to tell them that you ate the food, but the piece of paper (or share or credit) you used in good trust and faith didn't ever exist, but was issued to you from a legal and legitimate market system that existed.

Hmmmmmm... I wonder how that would turn out. What if we as Americans used this same concept with everything that we have bought in the country that has been bought on credit? Very powerful and we have a Federal Regulatory body saying that such is legal to do so? I really think that there are some huge misinterpretations that have been going on here. Clearly the SEC has got to see the precedence that they are setting throughout the nation condoning naked shorting practices. This could have some grave repercussions for our economic system if they don’t squash this soon before further escalating.

They are doing it to them selves. Someone up in the head offices of the SEC with some push has surely got to be seeing what this is growing into. The longer they ignore certain facts of allowing “counterfeiting of shares” to be done throughout the market, the bigger this snowball will become as it continues rolling downhill.

The SEC needs to bring out the heat to melt the snowball until it goes away. They have been put in the position to have not ever allowed something like this to have happen, but it did. I can even see how it might not have even been their fault for happening. No problem, we all make mistakes as we all are human. Heck, some have already forgiven them, but if they would just fix what has been broken it would set well to be forgiven by all before things get out of hand. The SEC should simply realize somewhere along the line someone botched up and just fix it.

The stage has been set in the largest theater ever to see how this is going to be played out. I wonder who the “stars” are going to be. Certain judges can allow certain legal TEAMS to take their place in history now or later as all would become famously known for market reformation. Until then, I have my front row seat tickets!!!
