First Potomac Realty Trust is engaged in the ownership, management, development and redevelopment of office and industrial properties in the greater Washington, D.C. region. The Company classifies its properties into three segments: Maryland, Northern Virginia and Southern Virginia. The Company includes its properties located in Washington D.C. in its Northern Virginia reporting segment. As of December 31, 2010, the Company’s portfolio contained a mix of single-tenant and multi-tenant office and industrial properties, as well as business parks.
