Warrants always have 5 letters for the symbol, so the warrant is GTLTZ.

Warrant is a derivative, and works somewhat like an option where it gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation to buy the stock at a set price and before a set date.

Warrants are highly volatile since they are issued by the company in limited amounts and have low "floats". This is why price fluctuates so greatly and why the potential for huge gains is present.

The closer the stock gets to the exercise price, the warrant is technically supposed to follow its movement but at an exponential (not linear) rate.

Options have the "delta" which describes this relationship and the rate of change, but warrants are different and do not have this.

Think of warrants are options lite.

Moving on...

The idea here, and with most OTCBB warrants is to forget the basics of how warrants are supposed to work.

We aren't interested in owning the stock. We want to buy the warrant with the intention of selling it later down the road, sometime before it expires.

It's almost exactly like trading call options.

Hi hanibal, pls forgive me for not understanding how warrants work. I noticed this stock today and maybe interested. Am I correct in that we are watching 2 prices here .. $1.24 ( the warrant price ) and .002 the stock price. And they both will flutuate as things develop. ? The stock should reach $5.00 by april next year for the warrant to be successful and make any banks the company borrowed from very happy, and if so this will be huge for the stock and as such the pps should increase at a similar percentage rate i assume ? Is there any problem if i want to sell ? because I don't see to much activity over the past year ? Thanks for any warrant advise you can give me ...

Noticed this gem today after someone bailed, chasing the bid down.

The underlying security here (GTLT) is a company bringing in 64 million in annual revenues (fiscal year 2009). I expect this to increase for FY 2010... the 10K is due later this month.

The warrant expires in roughly about a year and the $5 strike is most definitely within reach for the stock.

The downside here is low and the upside huge. Buy and hold, IMO. Patience makes money here.
