He moved permanently to West Africa in 1996 and since then has worked for Channel Resources Ltd. and Orezone Resources Ltd. in Burkina Faso, AREVA in Cote d’Ivoire and Mali, Tan Range Exploration Ltd. in Tanzania, High River Gold Mines Ltd. in Burkina Faso, then IAMGOLD Corporation in Mali. He has participated in a number of discoveries including Bombore, Goulagou, Bondi, Taparko, Bissa and Goldrush’s Ronguen gold deposit.
