What is a rougher grind is the stock pumper business where folks follow folks around stirring up stuff on private boards where others might not appreciate it.

Some folks don't like my due diligence and honest criticism of stocks I understand that.

What a rough grind the horse business is.

Technology is really cool. When she came over to our moms for Passover she showed me this app on her phone where she can watch the horses on her App with these cameras that are set up so there constantly being monitored.

It's a 24-7 operation running a rescue.

My Sister is a professional trainer and Jumper. She runs a non profit Horse rescue and rescues Horses that have been decimated or put in horrible living conditions. She delivered a horse a few weeks ago on her Birthday.

Myself and my cousins often had better returns than my uncle or grandparents, and yes, we would also hit the paddocks before every race.

I was a fast learner on reading the program (thanks Grandpap) so I would couple my DD skills on the DRF with what is intuited from listening to horse language. Yes, horses do have a unique way of communicating their emotions, which are quite similar to human emotions in so many ways. You can know when they are confident, pissed off, nervous, nonchalant, etc etc.

As a young boy my cousins and I particularly enjoyed collecting the fallen apples from the trees in great grandmas backyard in bushels and feeding them to the race horses in the barns.

Then they would give us the hot tips...

I started riding and showing very young. my parents liked to go to the track. As soon as I was 6 (the age kids were allowed) they would take me, knowing I'd be totally happy for the whole program.

My dad always gave me $10 at the start of the day. I went down to the paddock before every race and after looking and listening, if there was one I wanted to bet I'd go back and tell him and give him some of the money. After the first few times, they always waited to bet to see if I came back, because i did well.

Love the horses !!!! Grandparents owned some. I was betting in the owners box since I could see over the window....

Went to the Arkansas Derby and I saw a Madman run yesterday.... Ive been to every AR Derby (almost) for the last 20 years and have seen some awesome horses that went on to dominate in the KY Derby.

Bodemeister is as solid as any of em, Smarty, Ron, Alex, Curlin... Arch was pretty solid but for injury ending a promising career.

Just saying.
