The way the clearing system works, if there exists a naked short position, the short seller in the uncovered short still owes the dividend to the end buyer – so the actual dividends paid on certain securities can exceed the amount the public company pays

Do any of you here know anything about the dividend they mention, payable on march 12th.........All they say is, there's 6 million dollars to distribute........I've never had to try and calculate a dividend amount, based on how many shares are "held"......Makes no sense.......Any help appreciated.
