Limoneira Company is a public Delaware C Corporation. The company's common stock trades on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the symbol LMNR.

We are an agribusiness and real estate development company founded and based in Santa Paula, California, committed to responsibly using and managing our approximately 7,300 acres of land, water resources and other assets to maximize long-term stockholder value. Our current operations consist of fruit production and marketing, real estate development and capital investment activities.

We are one of California's oldest citrus growers and we believe we are the largest grower of lemons and avocados in the United States. In addition to growing lemons and avocados, we grow oranges and a variety of other specialty citrus and other crops. We have agricultural plantings throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara and Tulare Counties in California, which plantings consist of approximately 1839 acres of lemons, 1372 acres of avocados, 1062 acres of oranges and 403 acres of specialty citrus and other crops. We also operate our own packinghouse in Santa Paula, California, where we process and pack lemons that we grow as well as lemons grown by others.

Our water resources include water rights, usage rights and pumping rights to the water in aquifers under, and canals that run through, the land we own. Water for our farming operations is sourced from the existing water resources associated with our land, which includes rights to water in the adjudicated Santa Paula Basin (aquifer) and the unadjudicated Fillmore, Santa Barbara and Paso Robles Basins (aquifers). We also use ground water and water from local water districts in Tulare County, which is in the San Joaquin Valley.

For more than 100 years, we have been making strategic investments in California agricultural and development real estate, and more recently, in Arizona real estate. As of the date of this registration statement, we have six active real estate development projects in California and two in Arizona. Our real estate developments range from apartments to luxury single-family homes and in California include approximately 200 completed units and another approximately 2,000 units in various stages of planning and entitlement. Our real estate developments in Arizona consist of two luxury homes in Paradise Valley, which is adjacent to Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Lemons - California Lemons

With 1,839 acres of lemons throughout California, Limoneira is one of the largest lemon producers in North America. In its 117 years of operation, the Company has introduced a number of innovations that have added significantly to the industry such as improved storage methods and sophisticated harvest practices and equipment. In the 1940's, Limoneira developed the Limco 8A (bred in Limoneira's Olivelands 8-A orchard), a new lemon variety that proved more resistant to disease, yielded more fruit, was high in quality and maintained a strong shelf life. This variety remains one of the standard bearers for lemon production throughout the world.

Today, Limoneira maintains a demonstration orchard of over 300 citrus varieties on Limoneira Ranch property in Santa Paula to satisfy consumer tastes and to help keep the Company at the cutting edge of new citrus products. Research continues to be vital. We partner with the University of California's Agriculture and Natural Resources Program to further agriculture's forward momentum, and we work with leading partners in our Northern and Southern farming operations to grow, harvest and pack efficiently and sustainably.

Sometimes, the old ways are the best ways. Limoneira's Mediterranean style packing house built in the 1920's received recognition for its classic design from the Southern California Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in the early twentieth century. After all these years, it still operates at peak performance.

With our vertical integration from tree to plate, we are able to achieve efficiencies through all parts of the distribution chain, resulting in the highest quality and service possible for our customers. Our global marketing connections and harvesting, packing and quality control capabilities ensure that the customer in Tokyo enjoying our lemons in a delicious fish recipe will be as happy as our North American customer enjoying a refreshing glass of lemonade made with quality Limoneira lemons.

Avocados - California Avocados

Limoneira avocados act as a nutrient booster by enabling the body to absorb more fat-soluble nutrients, such as alpha-and beta-carotene. Avocados are packed with 20 vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and the "good" (monounsaturated) fats, which make them flavorful and healthy to eat. In fact, avocados have been proven to lower cholesterol.

Limoneira, with 1,372 acres in production, is one of the largest avocado growers in the United States. With over a half century of growing avocadoes, the Company has developed considerable expertise producing, harvesting, marketing and selling this increasingly popular product. During the last 60 years, the Company has seen the avocado's transition from a single specialty fruit to an array of 10 variety types ranging from green-skinned Zutanos to the predominant black- skinned Haas. To better compete globally, Limoneira has taken the important step of dense planting (4 times the trees per acre versus traditional plantings) and mulching to enable the trees to better acclimate to non-tropical climates. These sustainable practices enable Limoneira to tread lightly on the land.

Oranges - California Oranges

While primarily known for lemons, Limoneira has always been a high quality orange grower. In the Company's early days, Valencias were primarily grown for export to Pacific Rim countries. As world consumption patterns changed towards year round availability of seedless navels, Limoneira added acreage in the San Joaquin Valley in the mid 1990's. With 1,062 acres of oranges, Limoneira focuses on high quality late season Navels and Valencias primarily for export to Pacific Rim countires. Such niche marketing examples have driven the companies to ever higher levels of orange profitability. Limoneira continues to believe in the credibility and viability of the California orange industry and its position as a world producer. Nothing compares with fresh premium oranges that have been bathed in warm California sunshine.

A few decades ago, in response to an ever-changing marketplace, the Limoneira Company embarked on an aggressive search for alternative specialty citrus varieties that would appeal to changing North American and worldwide tastes. Limoneira has become a leader in the niche production and sales of varieties such as mandarins, blood oranges, Pummelos, Cara Cara Navels, super reds grapefruit, and many others. The company oversees approximately 403 acres of these special crops and carefully monitors their market. We believe that these products will continue to increase in popularity and will, in a few short years, create a citrus rainbow of colors and flavors.
