1 for 100 SHARE DECREASE!!!
I've hung onto this bomb for a year with my 16000 shares only to be cut down to 160 shares without ANY warning. I finall got through to "investor relations" a month ago and he said NOTHING about a name change or a share decrease only that they "hoped to be at .60 by the end of the year" Suuuurrreeee.

It will take a $25.00 price increase per share, with my measily 160 shares to even start to make back the money I've lost. Is this legal? To cut shares so dramatically without any warning to the investors? There has to be something wrong with that....does anyone know?

Yeah....they are really concerned about "investor relations"...no news for 6 months then a 1 for 100 SHARE DECREASE. NICE. All this company does is piss me off.

Finally some news. Now in another six months they can announce their bankruptcy. But not before they try to sell some sucker their $3.00 shares. IMO.

QOIL dropped all the way down to .10 before they announced their first well!

Spoke with MOGI IR people today and asked them to quantify the production figures in language that could be understood.

They were mystified by the figures too.

I suggested that they get back to MOGI management and tell them that at at least one investor[and probably all investors] was extremely irate at their obfuscating release and to do releases in terms and numbers that make some sense such as BOE or $ per annum production.

John,the IR guy for IWNN is in china but my complaint is on his computer as we speak.

We shall see.

could you put the news in laymans terms for those of us that don't think in terms of drilling to 7200 feet and how that affects the pps of MOGI ?

Montana Oil and Gas (Pink Sheets:MOGI) is pleased to report that the 1-5-60-25W4M Westlock well -- that was completed and tied into a sales line in May -- continues to produce strong revenues for the company. got a rumor this morning that MOGI might be the subject of a momentum play by a group of retail investors, not sure if it is true and not sure where it will take the stock price, however if you see volume and pps increase over the next day or two that is where it is coming from.

The research that I did a while back suggested that MOGI's interest was 25% independent of cwpc. Not positive, but I dont think that just because cwpc sold its % that MOGI did. Also, if there was a tie where cwpc received 17mil from Energy 51, then MOGI should get a pretty good share of the pot. Perhaps it means revenue atlast.

In cwpc's filing, it stated their 25% holding in Sylvan Lake and Barhead was now apx. 2% due to Energy 51 raising 17 million. So, I assume Mogi has less than 1/10th of previous percentage of the projects also, unless they added more with the new funding.

Read on the cwpc board that their shareholders meeting is the 19th. Since they own the majority of the projects, possibly mogi and iwnn were told to lay low until they announced any results from Sylvan Lake. What ever happened to the WestLock line? Thanks. Still waiting and hoping...

Just drove out to the Sylvan Lake Play to see what has been going on, and I lucked out. They are in the process of moving the service rig in right now. They have the service rig sitting (still laid down)in there, and it looks like they are moving the last part of the drilling rig out. They could possibly start work right away, or wait until after the long weekend. Never know with these service rigs here. I have no idea which service rig it is (except it is red and white). This company isn't too good at putting up signs, and I wasn't about to drive into the lease this time. :o}
Hope this helps a little..

Company should have operating revenues.
Go back to earlier prs from last spring.A long awaited tie-in to production lines was announced.

Just got off the phone with Jason who represents MOGI.Same firm that does PR for IWNN

He has nothing new on Sylvan to report except something vague about they will soon be testing the hole already drilled.

I told him in no uncertain terms that the management is not communicating with shareholders adequately on the progress of this company.In fact their disregard for communication is causing many investors to believe that Sylvan is a no show and that the direcors simply do not have the balls to say so.

Jason is obviously uncomfortable with the position he is in.He cannot relay what he does not know.

I left it that he would communicate with management of MOGI and convey my[and others]displeasure at management style here and relay to them that we expect decent communication.

I find that this lack of communication is arrogant in the extreme and totally unacceptable and may well signal that these people have nothing good to report.

Hi Dave,

The well at Sylvan was commenced just after break up. After that the rig wason site for approx 30 days due to the rains and the soft conditions which made it virutually impossible. to move the Rig off the site. A new set of well logs were done and evalauted on the Sylvan well to confirm the resutls from the 1st set (they seemed a bit suspect). The operator; Energy 51 Inc., has sent us the AFE for production testing in the Pekisko zone on Aug 4th, and they have stated that they are currently awaiting a rig and crew on site in the next week or so. The same holds true for the Barrhead well as well.

We would expect production results from both wells by the end of Aug. or early Sept. at the latest. The company will be in a position to release factual production tests, flow rates and reserves as soon as the tests are complete

The Sylvan Lake project was drilled to total depth on May 22nd 2005. The company's project continues to be plagued by bad weather causing delays beyond the company's control. Record flooding in Alberta Canada, described by some officials as a one in two hundred year event, has lead to the evacuation of thousands of people from their homes and businesses. The Operator has informed Montana Oil and Gas and their partners that due to the heavy rains and flooding they have been unable to get the large rig off the site and move on a service rig in order to perform a cased hole logging program. Peter Sanders notes, ``The operator has done a great job on this well to date and it is unfortunate that the weather has interfered with this project. We look forward to some favorable weather so we can resume logging as soon as possible.''

Montana Oil and Emerson Oil

Try post # 223... These two companies seem to be a carbon copy of each other.

Note for the younger set...

Back in the old days before computers, printers and copy machines we used paper that has a carbon film on one side and would insert that in the type writer along with an extra sheet of paper in order to get a "carbon copy" of our work. Saved a lot of time to keep from typing the whole thing twice!

Today we just do "copy" and "paste" then upload it to a different web site and PRESTO we have another company! They screwed up and forgot to change the name and issued a press release with the wrong company referenced... ugh.

Looks like I had the old IR number. I called Excel Relations and was told that there was an issue with rain and flooding in the Sylvan lake area. They had no other information but were expecting results sometime in the near future.

As for Westlock, they said flow rates are good and they were monitoring smaller wells hoping to bring the rates up to 1,000,000 ft3 per day.

He also mentioned the company having interest in possibly acquiring 2 other parcels of land in the Sylvan lake area.

How are Montana Oil and Emerson Oil connected? I called Montana oil's IR number and got transferred to someone named Ken who was talking about news releases from Emerson oil, although he did correctly note that the Montana Oil website was back online..

Another day, another new low. Website has been down for like a week. What a great company we have here.

So when should the Westlock revenues be out, middle of this month? It seems with this company things are never on schedule BUT they -do- get done.
