PowerVerde, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PWVI) today announced signing a binding Letter of Intent ("LOI") with Newton Investments BV, ("Newton") a Dutch-based company, to license PowerVerde's unique renewable 50Kw energy system. The LOI allows Newton to distribute this energy system throughout the 27 countries of the European Union, initially focusing on the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Scandinavian countries. Furthermore, PowerVerde has authorized Newton to manufacture this system under a strict licensing agreement with a Dutch/German foundry and machine shop capable of producing hundreds of units per year. Under the terms of this LOI, Newton must sell at least 100 systems in the first year to maintain these exclusive rights for up to 10 years.

In connection with the transaction, a Newton affiliate invested $250,000 in PowerVerde by purchasing 333,333 shares of common stock at $.75 per share, accompanied by a three-year warrant to buy 333,333 shares at $.75 per share.

This brings significant environmental and product benefits by eliminating disposal costs and replacing quarried minerals from distant sources with a recycled mineral that has better brightness, whiteness, opacity and printability than the original.

By enabling the raw material to be renewed in a closed loop, the paper industry can move closer towards the goal of zero waste, zero environmental impact and carbon footprint-free production. This will significantly reinforce their sustainability credentials.

The usage of recycled paper has reached 50 million tonnes in Europe and continues to grow as the demand for sustainable products increases. However it is not generally realised that paper contains up to 40% minerals which remain as a waste sludge after the recovery of the cellulose fibres. The elimination of this sludge is a growing problem following the new EU Waste Directive. Similar problems exist with recycled paper in North America and China.

CalciTech's new process overcomes the problem of impurities that has hitherto hindered the re-use of the minerals. The new process uses CalciTech's original technology for treating waste lime and applies it to solve a growing environmental problem. Trials have been successfully completed with waste from a range of paper mills. The Synthetic Calcium Carbonate produced from this waste is of exceptionally high brightness and low abrasivity. Extensive trials will be carried out with potential customers during 2010.

What a beautiful chart to behold!

I plan to love all the shares of JBII that I have for a long time...

I already love the cheap ones @ 1.00 or so.

I'm going to love the more expensive ones I'm acquiring in nibbles. AND I'll even love the ones I pay 5+ for in my wife's retirement account once the stock is trading high enough that it can be put in her plan!

Once they are all at 20+...

how could any of them be UGLY in MY SIGHT? ROTFL... (all the way to the bank, too!)

Thanks grantg2 for the POP! I sold all, but am still watching it for the bottom, and it looks like it may have found it.

JBII...well, that is indeed a horse of a different color! In all honesty, I cannot see a ceiling for this one. Suppose I will be buying it for a long time to come, and I do intend to go into semi-retirement by this time next year.

POPN's run was great news... but...

you offered good advice to take some profits.

AND with pennies, that is always wise.

Glad I sold HALF before the drop...

now the only question is... can POPN do it again?

JBII finally moved off its 1.00-1.20 channel and closed today at 2.83

CEO wants to move off BB & says 20 days over 2 will qualify for a move to AMEX (en route to nasdaq).

He has BIG plans yet TBA...

It is quite reassuring that he gets a salary of $1/year... he says he'll make his $$$$ when HIS sharholders also get paid.
