Some of our users may be having problems with the ADVFN Digital Certifcate, our team our working on this now. You should be able to sort this out and use the service normally by ticking the box marked "Always trust content from the provider" and then hitting run.

If you do not get the pop-up box and you are not seeing any prices, you can overcome the problem by removing the ADVFN Certificate and then re-adding it. To do this:
* Go to the Start Menu > Control Panel
* Click on Java
* click on the 'Security' tab
* click on 'certifcates' button
* click on the 'ADVFN PLC' certficate
* click on the 'REMOVE' button and 'OK' this
* go back to the website and load the monitor page
* a box will appear asking if you want to run the digital signature. Make sure to click on the box 'Always trust content from this publisher' and then click on the 'Run' button.

If you find that there is no certificate when you go to the Java Control Panel you will need to remove your tempoorary internet files, close your browser and try the site again.

To do this in IE:

Go to Tools (in IE7) or Safety (in IE8),
Click "Delete Browsing History...",
Click "Delete Files..." (in IE7) or make sure only "Temporary Internet files" is ticked and click "Delete" (In IE8).
Close the "Delete Browsing History" box and close IE.
Re-open IE and try the Monitor page again.
When you see the box above tick the box marked "Always trust content from this provider" and click "Run".

To do this in Firefox:

Go to Tools,
Click "Clear Recent History",
Make sure only Cache is ticked.
Select "Everything" in the "Time range to clear" menu at the top of the window.
Click "Clear Now".
Close Firefox.
Re-open it and try the Monitor page again.
When you see the box above tick the box marked "Always trust content from this provider" and click "Run".
