We began recycling electronics nearly a decade ago. From our first customer, we have not focused on being the largest, just the best. Our clients are Municipal, State and Federal agencies as well as some of Southern California's premier companies. They all have one thing in common.

RMD Technologies has maintained a "no export, no landfill policy" since day one. We have also developed alternatives to sending e-waste overseas. About Us
RMD Technologies, Inc. is an electronics recycler located in California. We began operations in 2001 providing electronics recycling of computers and other office equipment to corporate, government, education and equipment manufacturers located throughout California. During the past six years RMD Technologies, Inc. has developed a reputation for honest dependable service to its customers. RMD Technologies, Inc.'s mission is to provide end of life processing of electronic components (TV, computers, phones, etc) for corporate and government customers while providing these customers the highest level of protection from liability by conforming to not just current regulations, but by keeping pace with proposed changes to regulations and actively participating in the process of developing these regulations. RMD has always strived to maintain a "no landfill" policy and ardently follows the principles of Re-use, Reduce, Recycle.
Additionally, RMDT provides secure data destruction and accountability for tracking of recycled equipment to prevent dumping of E-Waste on developing countries. The company provides the highest level of customer service and verifies that high level with validated customer satisfaction surveys.
RMDT has developed proprietary data destruction and equipment handling processes that reduce the potential liability associated with the improper disposal of electronic equipment.
By establishing a "no fault to the customer" electronic disposal service and always remaining in compliance with state and federal regulations, These laws require the protection of health information and personal financial data and impose significant penalties for violations. Additionally, the Public Relations cost to a company violating these laws is enormous. RMDT's processes also prevent the release of sensitive internal documents and other important company information and trade secrets. Nearly every business employs a service to shred sensitive company paper documents, but few provide the same security for their electronic data. RMDT hopes to change that through education and by providing a safe, secure and reasonably priced process for implementing these safeguards.
Further, RMDT provides customers with a viable method of returning their EOL equipment to useful service; either in its original state or as a product made from post consumer recycled materials. The company adheres to the tenants of the Basel Convention and meets or exceeds all government regulations for the handling of EOL electronics and Covered Electronic Waste (CEW) as defined by California's SB-20 and SB-50.
The company's longer term plans include developing strategies to improve customer data security and developing products manufactured from the commodity streams produced by responsible Electronics Handling.
