In connection with the Reverse Split our Board of Directors, in its discretion, may provide special treatment to certain shareholders to preserve round lot holders ( i.e. , holders owning at least 100 shares) after the Reverse Split. The terms and conditions of special treatment afforded to our shareholders to preserve round lot shareholders, if any, including the record dates for determining which shareholders may be eligible for such special treatment, will be established in the discretion of our Board of Directors.

It sounds interesting. So the concept is whenever a company R/S's, when they say the minimum lot of shares is rounded up to 100 or 500 shares, you basically buy 1 share and when the R/S happens, you get 100 or 500? Then you immediately sell for a profit before the price goes back to previous price before R/S.

So if share price is currently .01, you buy the one share. The lot is 500 shares. If they do a 20/1 R/S, the price jumps up to .20 and then you have an easy $100 and you only spent a penny + commissions.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious.

It sounds interesting.

Tried 4 accounts...

1 - 99 TD now 0
2 - 100 TD now 0
3 - 500 TD now 1
4 - 500 ET now 1.65

What do I do next?

GCHR: from today's 8k:

Effective at a December 21, 2006 special shareholders’ meeting the Registrant’s shareholders granted the Board of Directors to effect a reverse split of the Registrant’s common shares. At a special Board of Directors meeting on April 4, 2007 the directors effected a reverse split of 1 to fifty (50). The action is to be effective as of April 16, 2007 or as soon thereafter as practical. The Registrant retained the authority to issue up to 500,000,000 shares.

Pursuant to a special shareholders meeting dated December 17, 2001 where the shareholders authorized the Board of Directors the effect a name change for the Registrant; the directors at a special board meeting held April 4, 2007 effected the change of the Registrant’s name to “American Resource Technologies, Inc.” This change has been filed and accepted by the Kansas Secretary of State as of April 9, 2007.

It's not a filing. The daily list is where we get the rs into for the next day that we post here. The Pre14 filings will give you the heads up that they are considering a rs.

I don't buy them until they hit the daily list. Once they are listed on that list the day before then you know for sure if it is official.

The last one I did I received over a hundred bucks (I think it was around $120 )in each of my accounts. So, even if you have one account, that would have been worth it. I have four Etrade accounts and one Ameritrade account - I have yet to do it with the Ameritrade account because I hear they are the pits about getting the round-up shares.

Just thinking round up for many stocks...

buying "X" shares pre split to end up with 1 share post split then you get rounded up 100...

In most cases do you know or think you come out with a gain... TIA

Look at the link for DSKT. 20:1 RS, but will not reduce below 100 shares. Buy 100 shares today, still have 100 shares after RS, but PPS is 20X greater.
