Update RBL Project - June 2022

Over the past view weeks, we have been exploring options to (re)launch RBL Token with the general idea to keep the RBL project going while we are waiting for the recovery or refund of liquidity by FEG Team. Once the liquidity is recovered or refunded it could then be used to either boost the new RBL token or merge the two tokens into a third and final RBL Token using the SmartDeFi 2.0 contract.

However, we must realize that the RBL project does not only suffer from the halted RBL Token, but also from a significant crypto asset portfolio which mainly holds halted SD tokens of which some incurred heavy losses due to panic selling across several SD markets at time the exploit was discovered. For the portfolio to continue (at profit), we also rely on the recovery or refund of the liquidity of those SD projects and the direction each of the SD projects will take going forward.

In addition, the general crypto markets took another dive recently with BTC leading the downfall sub $20k. And all though markets showed some recovery, we think the markets have a much higher chance of revisiting the lower levels multiple times (or even lower) before we can start thinking of a bullish reversal which could still be weeks/months away. We anticipate that an accumulation phase at those lower levels is needed to build up bullish momentum herewith also considering macro-economics and global politics that remain extremely bearish.

With the portfolio being halted (use case) and with bearish market conditions (selling pressure), but moreover due to having significant liquidity stuck in both RBL Token and RBL Portfolio, we have decided not to risk additional liquidity on a (hasty) relaunch now, but instead wait for:

1) the progress being made by FEG Team on SD 2.0 and the recovery/refund of liquidity
2) the general crypto markets moving into accumulation phase ahead of a potential bullish reversal

We understand that the current halted situation is very unfavorable for RBL holders because it just does not feel right to have money stuck like this. However, please be aware that for now the halted situation is to be considered a waiting game and not a losing game and that we just have to trust the recovery/refund plans being put in place by FEG Team.

At time of SD and RBL Token being halted, RBL Token traded at 0.000833 BNB per RBL Token with BNB at $300 and RBL Token at $0.25. With BNB having dropped further to $215 today, RBL Token would be valued at $0.18.

Unfortunately, we cannot manage the $ value of BNB, but 0.000833 BNB per RBL Token is something RBL holders should expect when relaunching herewith considering a full recovery or refund of SD liquidity. RBL holders should also expect receiving any new RBL token on a 1:1 basis for which we have taken snapshots of the current RBL holder token balances.

Last, we have been putting together a smaller interim crypto asset portfolio of which trading and investment profits will partially be retained to buy & burn the new RBL Token after relaunch. Meaning, while we wait for the opportunity to relaunch, we will continue to chase investment and trading opportunities to build up additional value for the RBL project.

In the ideal situation: SD liquidity is fully recovered or refunded, and we then relaunch or migrate RBL Token with an improved and audited SD 2.0 contract at 0.000833 BNB per RBL Token and with BNB back up to $300 or higher. After relaunch we can instantly start boosting the new RBL Token (buy & burn mechanism) with trading and investment profits earned from the interim crypto asset portfolio and also continue with the initial portfolio. We would perhaps all look back at this waiting game period as a migration period while having survived the bear market without any significant losses to make up for first.

Should this ideal situation be achieved, we could see RBL Token trading at a price above $0.25 quickly after relaunch with an improved and audited SD 2.0 contract on an improved FEGex platform that will have some interesting and strategical new features. Here is why:

FEGex will be moving away from operating as a decentralized exchange with liquidity pools. This move makes sense after recent exploit events, but we think this move could also be an important strategical one. FEGex will operate as an aggregator and gasless P2P platform which will allow for any validated token to be listed. On the aggregator platform one can easily and quickly find the best prices being offered across multiple decentralized exchanges. On the P2P (peer-to-peer) platform one can offer and trade tokens from wallet to wallet (person to person) while setting buy and sell orders at preferred prices.

In case you are not aware yet, a lot of blockchain projects and exchanges have been working on P2P protocols and it seems P2P could have its rebirth in the upcoming months. Remember Napster and exchanging music files peer-to-peer? Now consider the younger generations exchanging tokens and NFT’s the same way, thereby always looking for the best price and zero gas fees deals fully independent from third party liquidity pool pricing and trading fees. We think that the direction FEG is taking now, may very well position them ahead of the competition (trade platforms), but only time will tell…

With the new SD 2.0 contract and new FEGex trading features, RBL’s vision and mission will change with it. This will result in a change of RBL Token’s tokenomics and base pairing for sure. Therefore, aside from managing the interim portfolio and building additional value for the RBL project, we will be fully redeveloping the RBL project which also includes updating the website, social platforms and perhaps writing a short white paper. We will also redefine our portfolio investment strategies with the goal to diversify opportunities and risks across multiple blockchains platforms. We will be monitor everything FEG daily and will update on developments that significantly impact the RBL project.

The time to learn from events and to improve and rebuild is now during the summer and we feel confident that all pieces – as described in this write up - could all fall into place with a true reversal of crypto markets after the summer period. Just give it some time by stepping away from crypto now to enjoy your summer at the fullest and RBL Token will be back up and running in profit before you know it!

RBL's position on current situation

Dear RBL holders,

this is just to inform you that RBL will be patiently waiting for official announcements by the FEGTeam on:

- the current halted situation which includes recovery plan of RBL Token liquidity.

- FEG's new strategy on FEG token, ROX token and SD tokens, which may include a new and improved SD contract

- and as a result, the expected timeline to migrate, relaunch and reopen trading for SD tokens.

Meanwhile, RBL will not be rushing to explore options outside of FEG and SmartDeFi ecosystems to continue RBL Token.

RBL will give FEGteam the opportunity and time needed to recover from this and to present their next steps before making any judgements and planning any moves ourselves.

Update RBL Token on Risk management after recent events

Although RBL was already looking into risk scenario's before recent events took place, we will now move forward on risk management meaning three things:

1) RBL Portfolio will from now on also be looking to invest in early opportunity's that lay outside the FEG Ecosystem and SmartDeFi ecosystem. This is not because we no longer have faith in the ecosystem, in contrary, we believe FEG and SmartDeFi will recover from this stronger and will be more successful going forward. This is purely to diversify risks across blockchains and the full portfolio will still be generating profits to buy & burn RBL Token, the SmartDeFi token as launched on the Binance Smart Chain.

2) RBL will be looking into building a reserve liquidity pool by adding a fair % of RBL Portfolio profits to this pool as backing for each RBL Token in circulation. This backing will be additional to the asset backing already provided through RBL Tokens smart contract, but will be kept on a different blockchain and we are currently considering building a reserve in USDC combined with ISO20022 digital assets as a hedge.

3) RBL will no longer be looking to launch RBL Token with its own supply and metrics on any other blockchain. This would make the project too complex to manage from a risk point of view. So everything we financially develop now and put in place (portfolio, reserves, use cases) will solely benefit and support the value of RBL Token, the SmartDeFi token as launched on the Binance Smart Chain. However, a bridging concept to other blockchains could still be considered using the current (locked) supply and metrics. We would first have to study the technical requirements and financial consequences when the time comes.

RBL is here to stay and we will keep building and when that next bull market kicks in, RBL will be ready to rise and shine!

RBL scalped a bit of profits on Luna (4.5 BNB) and BurnIT (0.5 BNB) and topped up its holdings in SINU and SDOX and will continue adding to these projects in the near future as we support presale services within the SmartDeFi space. Majorly important!

RBL Team donated 10,000 RBL tokens to RBL Portfolio.
Tokens were sold to increase the Portfolio's position in FEG token.
RBL is confident the market will sooner or later pick-up the opportunity.

Due to a large glitch in the chart (not being an actual transaction) RBL has decided to compensate its last two buyers around the time of the glitch with additional RBL tokens as they saw their opportunity which in fact was never there! We think this is a fair compensation. Case resolved.

To kick-off all project changes here is what will go down in the following order:

1) The RBL Team will first be claiming its reflections on the locked Team tokens and will then send 5,000 RBL Tokens in total of its earned reflections on both locked and unlocked Team wallets to the RBL Portfolio wallet as a donation.

2) RBL Team will then be donating 15,000 RBL Tokens of its unlocked Team holdings by sending the tokens to the RBL Portfolio wallet as a donation.

3) RBL Portfolio will then send 15,000 RBL Tokens to the burn wallet which will result in a large spread of RBL Token reflections.

4) RBL Portfolio will then use 5,000 RBL Tokens for a test Buy & Burn event. RBL Tokens will be sold in the market, bought back and then burned for Asset Backing after. RBL Team will try to avoid – but cannot guarantee – any delay between the sell and buy back transactions.

5) Exact date and time of the events will not be disclosed to avoid any market manipulations. However, since all transactions are visible on the blockchains, the RBL Team cannot avoid any notifications from others that are not directly involved in the RBL project.

RBL Team and Presale investors

While the markets are experiencing serious volatility and we wait and see what happens next, it might be a good time to explain a bit more about the RBL Team and its Presale investors.

As the creator of the RBL Ecosystem - which includes RBL Token and RBL Portfolio that is set to increase RBL Token's value - I also lead and push the project on RBL's socials including ihub. This means when posting updates or answering to questions, most of the time it will be me that you see on the channels.

Having worked in Financial management & controlling and Financial IT consultancy services for over 20+ years, I decided to pause my consultancy firm and take a sabbatical to study blockchain and SmartDeFi in more depth and this is what I have been doing over the past 10 months. It has given me new energy & knowledge and I am now fully driven to make RBL a success by continuing this endeavor fulltime. I have been in crypto investing and trading since 2017.

There are currently 2 Team members assisting in the background. RBL is only just launched and we are still in the process of building the initial crypto asset portfolio and developing additional use cases that increase RBL Token's value even more. But we have bigger plans for the RBL project, including launching on other blockchains for which will have to grow the Team, specifically with developers. The core focus for the Team now is to research on potential SD projects in which RBL Portfolio could take a holder position and grow the RBL community (brand recognition phase).

Aside from the small Team, RBL has formed a Shark Tank like group of early investors. 18 members on Telegram, but the group is bigger as they are not all on Telegram. The TG is invite only. Although the early investors are not actively involved or part of the project, we brainstorm and talk about new SD projects and other investment opportunities.

Some of the investors have been in crypto, FEG and SD for some time ahead of the RBL launch, but some are completely new to crypto investing. Team and early investors have all onboarded a few more investors new to crypto (third line contacts) which resulted in a successful private presale providing the RBL project with a strong start in terms of Liquidity. Very important in SD! Read our post on this.

It is key for any new investor in RBL Token to understand that both Team and early investors are in this project for the long run. We consider ourselves SMART money investors, of which most are running business in real life and don't waste time on TG, ihub or even on charting, and give investments time which is key in being successful in the long run. Both Team and early investors together provided liquidity in return for their RBL tokens and our combined strategy is to hold, sell reflections and over time scalp our initial investment out. Of course. That's just how it works.

But the combined goal is very clear: to take RBL Token to 100 dollar a token, but we will not stop there. RBL is a SMART money play and one can decide to join it and get exposure to SmartDeFi through RBL Token or not, but we at RBL will make this play anyway and we will be successful in reaching our goal together.

RBL takes a top holder position in MESK

MESK will release its renewed whitepaper and beta dApp in Q2-2022.
With the broader crypto markets down, we think MESK has now hit the bottom.

Considering its high liquidity and a 3.7x baseline, the investment risk is rather low.

In our opinion the chart is also very misleading, because MESK has a great and large dev team, strong community and they have been building.

The chart does tell us one thing:

MESK was one of the first SD projects that launched in February. At that time, SD tokens were on hype mode, because SD technology was only just released to the public. You can clearly see the green candle chasers in the first phase after launch and while MESK is building tech, most slowly sold off their holdings securing some profits.

We see the same with our early Divvy investment. While devs are building great tech, people get impatience and move on to make profits elsewhere. So we think we got in MESK at a bargon now really with great things coming!

SmartDeFi charts

When the wider crypto markets are down, SmartDeFi tokens that have significant liquidity inside the smart contract, are less impacted and still show strength.

Well, depending on how you look at it.

Here is RBL's USD chart... looks painful at first and one can easily think the project is weak with a lot of selling going on considering the red candles.



Now here is RBL's BNB chart... and this shows strength and upward momentum - although volume is a bit paused - but it gives much better impression of buyers holding on to their RBL tokens, backing the project, even when the markets are in decline.



If you are invested in SD Tokens and you plan to hold for the longer term, just stop looking at USD charts all the time and make judgements based on BNB or ETH charts.

BNB and ETH price will most likely pick-up again on the reversal and SD Tokens' USD value will then pick up again. But if the project is losing strength against its paired base currency like BNB or ETH, I would surely be digging in to the project further...

FEG is currently developing USCT (Universal Stable Cent) which could include additions to SmartDeFi technology also. Therefore, we will not be launching on ETH chain yet. But we will.

There is a big DAO launch coming up (Big Shiba Inu) and RBL will try to invest early and add this as the first SD investment on the ETH chain. But feel free to look that one up too if you are an ETH chain investing. Will be huge!

RBL Token project update

At RBL, we research, we listen and we learn. And this is what we have been doing within the SmartDeFi space ever since ROX launched. We have watched many projects succeed and fail, and we have seen a lot of scams projects too unfortunately. And by having learned a lot from other projects, we still believe the RBL Token presale and launch are a perfect example for new SD projects.

So why then is RBL missing the X-factor? We think we know now, because we still listen and interact a lot with other SD project leads and SD investors:

- Appealing transactional burn mechanisms are missing
- Appealing tech or services are missing

1 BUY & BURN

Since we kicked off the project without any, burn mechanisms can easily be implemented and RBL will implement 3 transactional burn mechanisms:

- To kick-off the burn wallet, the RBL Team will send 1.5% of its unlocked team tokens to the burn wallet after which the burn wallet will auto generate reflections. This transaction will generate reflections for holders!
- RBL will no longer fWrap its investment portfolio profits and thereafter send fBNB to the Token smart contract to boost RBL Token’s market price. Instead, RBL will use its portfolio profits to Buy & Burn RBL Tokens. This will create buy pressure, volume, scarcity, growth of the asset backing pool and reflections for holders from the burn transactions!
- A new service will be developed of which earnings will also Buy & Burn RBL Tokens. See 2 New Service.

2 NEW SERVICE

RBL consist of a group of crypto enthusiasts, investors, traders, and we are successful in buying the best-in-class projects, either extremely early or when sentiment is at its lowest and fear at its highest. The main goal is to maximize profits and this experience and strategy is tokenized with RBL Token and RBL Portfolio generating profits for the token as a result.

Our target audience are SMART money investors that are interested in having exposure to FEG Ecosystem based crypto assets like SmartDeFi Tokens, but lack time, deeper interest, or technical knowledge to do what we already do best for several years now.

In addition to holding RBL Token to gain exposure to the best SmartDeFi projects out there, RBL will develop an onboarding workshop for SMART money investors ($5K+ as minimum to invest) which will include:

- Introduction to blockchain investing, SmartDeFi projects in specific.
- Introduction to RBL Token and SD projects RBL Portfolio is invested in.
- Workshop “how to buy SD Tokens” by taking new investors by the hand and help them set-up a wallet, buy BNB, use FEGEx, buy ROX Token and buy RBL Token being as the use case tokens during the workshop.
- We are keen to build the onboarding workshop around FEGex and Grafene wallet which could potentially develop into a marketing or a third-party supplier relationship with FEG.
- The onboarding workshop will be online and fully anonymous to protect privacy on both sides, however we will be contacting the SDOX team and brainstorm if they could provide any services that would create safety, trust and comfort for both sides.
- The workshop can also be offered to potential SMART money investors that are initially interested in SD projects that are part of RBL Portfolio holdings. We will be working closely on this with these projects.
- Finally, we think Divvy Dashboard would be the go-to-platform for new investors to monitor and manage their investments in SD and we will be sharing suggestions on ‘investors dashboarding’ with the Divvy team.

Fee for the workshop will be a payment / project donation model which will Buy & Burn RBL Tokens. RBL Team will never claim any revenues.

3 SMART REBLANCE STRATEGY

RBL herewith also redefines its SMART Rebalance strategy and we will be more aggressive in taking profits on RBL Portfolio’s holdings. This means we will still SMART Rebalance the holder positions and sell reflections, but a rule will be added to take trade profits sooner should a token increase significantly in a short period of time. We will set ‘profit taking’ thresholds for each project separately based on a project’s phase, development and chart. We will always avoid impacting the markets of the projects we hold by only selling in small orders.

In addition, RBL will from now on use 70% (previous: 40%) of its Portfolio profits to Buy & Burn RBL Tokens and retain 30% for new early investment. With this change RBL Token will benefit more on the short-term and less on the long-term.

4 BUY & BURN TEST EVENT AND SMART DROP

Liquidity matters when investing in SD tokens

When investing in crypto, mcap, volume, supply and volatility are most often key financial metrics – aside of course from project fundamentals, team, community and roadmap which should always come first – when making investment decisions.

When reading through this board, I read a lot about these same metrics too, but I hardly read about Liquidity. Although, the above-mentioned metrics would be very applicable to large cap and mid cap crypto assets, when investing in DeFi crypto assets – specifically small caps or new launches – these metrics should always be considered secondary to liquidity when making early investment decisions.

This applies even more to SmartDeFi tokens, because the only available liquidity is the liquidity locked inside the SD token smart contract itself. One can only liquidate a position There are no centralized exchanges that provide liquidity (re large cap and mid cap listings) and there are no third-party liquidity providers to a decentralized exchange, like PancakeSwap or Uniswap (re DeFi token listings).

SD token market price = BNB or ETH Liquidity inside the smart contract / Token supply inside the smart contract.

In SmartDeFi, mcap doesn't tell anything really. You could have a project with 1.5m in mcap and $30K in Liquidity, but you could also have a project with 1m in mcap with $2.5K in Liquidity. In both cases a relatively small $5K investment would pump the market price like crazy. Significant % increases – or $ price for that matter – as a result from this, doesn't tell us that much either. The $5K pump can create FOMO instantly, while in fact it might only be a single $5K investor with a series of buy orders getting in causing a huge price impact due to the project having low liquidity inside the project.

When investing early in SD, liquidity is key. It does not only tell something about a project’s financial health (can you secure an exit strategy if you need to liquidate at any time), but also about the intentions and behavior of the holders that invested in the project earlier.

This is where (private or whitelisted) presale comes in as key factor to be successful as a project or as investor. Through presale, a project can launch with high liquidity while having already build a strong and loyal group of early but most likely long-term backers to the project. And if indeed proven loyal, the presale investors become the liquidity providers to the SD project, securing a high level of liquidity and thus stability and comfort for new investors in the long run.

As the SmartDeFi space matures, we now see private or whitelisted presale develop into a community standard and projects like SINU and SDOX even provide services to support new projects on presale. And there are some highly liquid projects out there that have taken this road for sure.

Of course, a lot of SD projects have not launched after first having a presale in the earlier days, but the strong ones with actual uses cases and great developers, have come through on their promises and have grown their holders and liquidity organically over the past several months.

Most in DeFi seem to fear projects with significant presale investors, because they could dump when others enter the market. While in fact, if the project is legit and presale investors back the project long-term, they provide a safer and healthier market for any new investor after the project is launched.

Introducing SMART Rebalance Token [RBL] which makes it easier for SMART money to gain exposure to FEG's emerging technologies through a diversified portfolio of FEG Ecosystem based crypto assets while earning 39% in holder reflections at the same time.

The project not only kicked off to a strong start with 100 BNB in RBL Token liquidity through a successful private presale amongst longer term crypto investors and holders, but it also created RBL Portfolio, which is fully owned by RBL Token but operates alongside the token to generate profits that flow into the token.

40% of Portfolio profits earned is send directly to RBL Token liquidity which increases RBL Token's market price. 60% is retained for new early investments in FEG Ecosystem based crypto assets. The portfolio kicked off at 60 BNB and is currently valued at 125 BNB.
