We just lost our third straight last night. We played horrible and after batting around in the first, I came up again (I'm the leadoff batter) and popped out with bases loaded. My hitting has been struggling and the batting average is only around .350...pathetic since last year I was around .600. My wife's actually won last night though (they're now 2-7). They beat a 4-4 team 19-8, but lost their best hitter for the last game of season and the playoffs because she's moving to NC.

I've watched plenty of tournaments in FL, but I've never seen a team like this one.

I played slow pitch for a few years when I was still living on Staten Island, when our team won the title, we went to a tourney in Pa. and on the other field they had those guys you talked about, 2 teams playing each other, and every guy in each lineup could hit the ball 500 feet, it was something else to watch.

Last night...

Going into last night we were #2 in our league with a 4-1 record, playing the 5-0 first place team. We got schillacked, slaughtered, killed, whatever you want to call it, we got beat down. 30-5 was the official score, but I have 31 in our scorebook. Now we didn't play a great game (we had a ton of errors and obviously didn't hit), but man were those guys good! It was an all-Spanish team, and every single guy on the team could hit a dinger. It was truly amazing to watch.

My softball leagues...

I play in a men's church league, coach a women's church league, and sub in for our men's team and coed teams at work. I love this game!
