UTLM.OB Announces Revenue Sharing Agreement With SIRIUS Satellite Radio (SIRI)
Today USTelematics announced that it has reached an affiliation and revenue sharing agreement with SIRIUS Satellite Radio. USTelematics product lines have introduced revolutionary advances in automobile-based digital communications, mobile wi-fi internet access and rear-seat entertainment for traveling families. The goal of the partnership is for technical advancement of USTelematic’s Voyager Mobile IPTV so that it will be able to output Sirius’ musical programming and offer SIRIUS subscriptions to Voyager users.
The current Voyager system is available in monitor sizes from 7’’ to 12’’ and offers users access to hundreds of channels of live and stored TV shows, movies, music, online games and more; all in the comfort of your moving vehicle. With the addition of SIRUS subscriptions to the optional Voyager packages, success for both companies lies ahead. This agreement could not only change the way people listen to radio, but the way SIRIUS is marketed and heard throughout the country.
Howard Leventhal, CEO of USTelematics, stated, “Affiliating ourselves with Sirius and its remarkable programming enables us to supplement all of the great audio programming already available on Voyager. Our plan is to technically provision Voyager to output Sirius’ music programming and offer SIRIUS subscriptions to Voyager users, so that kids in the rear car seat and parents in the front seat can all be piped-in. We believe that the sustainable revenue opportunities from this partnership will play a significant role in our ongoing mission to build long-term shareholder value.”
UTLM.OB Sees a Number of Favorable Conditions Driving its Business
This company was started by telecommunications experts focused on the Wired Car concept. They intend to bring together mobile devices for business and entertainment while mobile. Technologies not only provide this, but also provide customer safety while on the road. Their technologies are in demand as shown by their revenue sharing contract with Verizon and Dish networks that are already in place. They also continue to advance their proprietary technologies to strengthen their market position.
The global Infotainment market is expected to reach $35 billion by the year 2010, representing a tremendous opportunity for growth. Auto manufacturers have also begun to key in on the wired vehicle trend and have started placing connected car services in new cars. These technologies are becoming increasingly cheaper as well further driving demand. Europe has taken notice as well, many times exceeding US demand of GPS products.
Another trend driving their business is the viral growth of texting in the US and Europe. Last year mobile texting was up 96% year over year - a tremendous increase. This creates dangerous conditions as many drivers’ text and drive at the same time. The company’s products address this through a talking messaging system that is hands-free. Laws banning cell phone use while driving are in the works, further increasing the need for their mobile messaging solution.
According to President and CEO Howard Leventhal, “USTelematics is firmly committed to building shareholder value through the development of advance technologies and products that capitalize on the wired car revolution.”
UTLM Secures Distribution Agreement with Mobile Electronics Leader, Car Toys
USTelematics, Inc. recently announced it has reached a distribution agreement with the commercial division of Car Toys, moving forward with its plan to commercialize its Voyager product lines. Car Toys, the 5th largest national mobile electronic retailer, is the No. 1 accessory retailer for leading auto dealers.
Voyager is a line of devices for receiving digital television in moving vehicles. Voyager offers 100s of channels of live and stored TV, music, movies and games. It also has a built-in CD/DVD player, and surrounds the vehicle in WiFi connection, allowing for online laptop connection as well. Per the agreement, Car Toys will present USTelematics’ popular Voyager product line through its commercial divisions in Washington, Oregon, Texas and Colorado.
“Car Toys is a true leader in mobile electronics and their enthusiasm and support of our Voyager product line gives us great market validation on a mass level,” Paul Wenig, national sales manager of USTelematics, said in the press release.
Founded in 1987, Car Toys experienced immediate success with its mobile electronic products. The store has since grown from its initial Bellevue, Washington location to employ more than 1,200 professionals in four different states.
“Launching with their commercial division is the first phase of our strategic partnership which will lead, at some point in the future, to product availability in their 49 store locations,” stated Wenig.
UTLM Takes Comfort to a Whole New Level
Comfort is our human nature. From personal relationships, home furnishings, the workplace and our vehicles – we demand a comfortable surrounding. USTelematics (OTCBB: UTLM) provides Windows Embedded multimedia personal computers fit for moving vehicles, putting users at ease on the road.
The company engages in developing and commercializing next-generation, proprietary technologies to reinvent the “wired car.” As much time as we spend running back and forth, always on the go, the company’s technology and services offer comfort and enjoyment in everyday activities.
The products are designed for in-vehicle use, delivering power, durability and entertainment. The company’s line of products is customizable, and even available for lease. You can get back seat car TV, in dash car TV, mobile multimedia, headrest TV, satellite TV for cars and boats, hotspot availability and more.
One of the company’s principal products is Vivee. It’s like a virtual personal assistant that reads the users’ e-mail out loud for them, allowing them to conduct business without taking their eyes off the road. And if it’s not business, it might be the kids – the company’s car video game systems make road trips easy and enjoyable for passengers, while less distracting for the driver.
Working to Emerge as an Operating Company, USTelematics (UTLM.OB) Takes Advantage of the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show
One of the most talked about events of the beginning of the New Year was the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). For companies engaged in proprietary technologies, this was their chance to reach thousands of distributors, customers and representatives from around the world. USTelematics, Inc. was one company to greatly benefit from the global attraction.
The company is focused on the development and commercialization of next-generation, proprietary technologies in order to revamp the “wired car” with features such as high speed data and entertainment content to private and commercial vehicles. In a $54 billion global telematics market, the company is leaving its footprint in the industry.
“The developments at CES are the final step after a long development period, preceding the significant revenue traction we foresee in calendar 2008,” USTelematics CEO Howard Leventhal stated in a press release. “The global media interest and coverage we received during CES coupled with the signing of tier-1 distributors and sales representatives, portends a complete shift away from development stage and to operating revenue early this year.”
The company recently posted its operating results for the quarter ended November, 30, 2007, reporting $6.3 million in earnings for the quarter. As Leventhal explained in a statement, the company works with its accountants, legal counsel and financial advisors each day in an effort to simplify its capital structure as it moves from a development stage company toward becoming an operating company.
UTLM Announces New Corporate Video Featuring Product Introductions at Recent CES Show
USTelematics announced this morning that it has released a brand new video that provides investors with even better insight of its breakthrough product lines which address the numerous revenue opportunities in the fast-growing, multibillion-dollar telematics marketplace.
The video was filmed at the recent 2008 International CES show that was held in Las Vegas. The annual expo is known as the world’s largest and most prestigious event in the consumer electronics industry and is regularly used as a platform to launch revolutionary products.
The video shows the Company’s innovative product lines, including Vivee(TM), a communication solution that reads text messages and emails aloud to provide drivers with safer use of digital messaging; and the Voyager product line, a wireless mobile internet protocol TV (IPTV) solution for rear-seat passenger vehicle infotainment.
The complete video can be viewed at the following link: http://www.trilogy-capital.com/tcp/utlm
With UTLM Business Never Stop
Many cities across the country are enforcing a new law that bans cell phone use in school zones and can result in a hefty fine if violated. The world doesn’t stop spinning during school hours, and many people find it necessary to communicate while driving. For them, USTelematics, Inc. (OTCBB: UTLM) has designed Vivee.
The software can be downloaded onto any Windows desktop or Windows mobile device, and the company is working to expand capabilities to other devices such as the iPhone. The online service features an animated character that “speaks” the users’ incoming e-mail or text messages, allowing them to receive messages without taking their eyes off the road.
USTelematics’ online store offers Vivee software for existing devices, as well as new devices that support the Vivee service such as a multipurpose Windows Mobile OS PocketPC, and are equipped with a built-in global positioning satellite (GPS) system.
One of many other USTelematics’ products is Vivee2go, a handheld device manufactured by Hewlet-Packard. The small device retrieves and plays e-mails and texts through an internal Wi-Fi connection that allows for Web connection anywhere on the road. The GPS navigation system is equipped with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and entertainment options.
UTLM Announces Revenues and Earnings Growth for Q4 2007
This afternoon, USTelematics reported its operating results for the quarter ended November 30, 2007. The results include the revenues generated in addition to $6.3 million in earnings for the fiscal quarter, which resulted from positive derivative instrument accounting.
The CEO of USTelematics, Howard Leventhal, commented on the results, “We are continuing to experience the non-operating, non-cash effects of the accounting rules applying to the derivative financial instruments underlying our capital structure. We work every day with our accountants, legal counsel and financial advisors to simplify the Company’s capital structure while shifting from a development stage entity to an operating company. We fully expect calendar 2008’s news to be more about operating results than about the intricacies of our financing.”
The Company recently received its first broad exposure of the Vivee(TM) and Voyager(TM) communications and entertainment product lines at the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). USTelematics reported a successful product exhibition as the Company inked a number of distribution and marketing agreements as well as strengthened its relationships with a global network of independent sales representatives.
“The developments at CES are the final step after a long development period, preceding the significant revenue traction we foresee in calendar 2008. The global media interest and coverage we received during CES coupled with the signing of tier-1 distributors and sales representatives portends a complete shift away from development stage and to operating revenue early this year,” said Mr. Leventhal.

UTLM - 60 Mile Per Hour Web Surfing?
One of the hottest offerings by the big three auto makers is a DVD player with a 7 inch screen for watching movies in the rear seat of their vans and cars. In fact, during the latest Ad campaign out of Chrysler, the focus is on the entertainment and information systems of the vehicle, not the attributes of the minivan itself. That’s a phase shift of rather stunning proportions. It wasn’t long ago that any advertisement for a vehicle would focus on the vehicles mainstay’s such as handling, acceleration, roominess, fuel economy, etc. Now it’s rear seat entertainment and information. We find that to be an extremely interesting change in focus.
So, as the focus swings from “what can the car do for you” to “what you can DO in your car” there has been some massive changes in focus from the electronics industry also. For instance the term “Telematics” has developed to describe the merging of mobile information and entertainment systems in vehicles, to coincide with the “wired car”. Everyone knows that the joy of a road trip can soon become the boredom of “are we there yet” once the ride is underway. So, bringing telecommunications and entertainment systems that can function as well at 60 MPH as they do at your desk has been something of a Holy Grail, and guess what? US Telematics has found that grail.
US Telematics is a leader in bringing information and entertainment products to the mobile arena, and their Voyager is turning heads and making waves in all the right places, such as last week’s Consumer Electronics show. Lines gathered to view the Voyager Product line, which is a series of mobile IPTV products for rear seat entertainment, gaming and fully-enabled Internet browsing. Where most pre-existing mobile devices offer some form of a scaled down “mobile Web” service that is quite disabled with respect to Web browsing, Voyager provides standard full-screen browsing experience including streaming video — just as one encounters while using a laptop or desktop PC.
As if it wasn’t enough for USTelematics (Trading under the symbol UTLM) to finally bring us full capability internet services, the Voyager is much more than a web surfer. It’s a gaming console, it’s a movie theater. By partnering with top satellite TV providers, entertainment options include connection to Apple iTunes for music, movies, audio books, TV shows and other content and access to downloadable films via MovieLink.com, CinemaNow, Amazon Unbox and others. Once again that in and of itself is impressive enough, but indeed there is even “more” to Voyager than all this.
Acting as a WiFi multiplier, the “vehicle” that Voyager is mounted in becomes a WiFi ”hotspot” , so that all passengers have access to the web, allowing for even greater productivity for those individuals on the road between business destinations. It has the storage capacity to store up to 40 full length movies and tens of thousands of songs, and acting as a game console viewer, it links to all the popular online games including the Xbox live.
UTLM’s Voyager is the single most advanced info/information system available to the mobile market to date. When you combine USTelematics Voyager system, with their similarly advanced “Vivee” System which brings text to speech recognition, and hands free communication with Text messaging and Email, it’s easy to see that UTLM is in the “hotspot” of advanced mobile telematics.
Investors interested in becoming involved in what has been noted as a 60 billion dollar a year global industry, should seriously consider USTelematics as an entryway to this exciting arena. They have the patent protected products, the partnerships and the technology to bring some fun and productivity to your next road trip, as well as a smile to your portfolio.
UTLM Investor’s Conference Call January 16th at 12 Noon to Discuss Various Developments and Strategies

UTLM Receives News Coverage from FinancialWire
This morning FinancialWire issued a press release covering the recent news of USTelematics’ recent distribution agreement with D&H Distributing. This contract will enable USTelematics to sell its next-generation products in major consumer electronics retail chains and stores.
D&H will be distributing the Company’s advanced communications and rear-seat mobile entertainment product lines as outlined in the terms of the agreement. This added distribution could lead to greater revenues and better establish the USTelematics brand name with consumers as well as retailers.
The Chief Executive Officer of USTelematics, Howard Leventhal, expressed his excitement in the company press release anouncing the landmark agreement by stating, “This agreement is particularly valuable to USTelematics because of D&H’s proven track record in successfully recognizing the most exciting new products, and then to play a key role in making those products a success in the marketplace
“We are proud and thankful for the opportunity to have our product lines and brand distributed nationally and throughout North America, side-by-side with fine, long-established consumer electronics names currently handled by D&H,” he added.
UTLM - Auto Sales?
There has been an interesting phenomenon occurring lately concerning the more recent auto advertisements. Instead of highlighting what would classically be considered “auto” related buzz words such as “handling” or “traction” or “lateral stability” or “acceleration” , what we are seeing instead is “8 inch GPS screen”, or “Hands free blue tooth” or “rear seat DVD players”, all with the idea of “bringing the family together”.
We find that incredibly interesting. For years on end, the “car” was an isolated atmosphere, populated by a poor quality sound system, and quite inaccessible by any means. But starting with cell phone technology and then expanding into GPS capability, coupled with WiFi and WiMax technology, the “car” is no longer an isolated platform. Total communication while on the road has come of age. In fact, so large is the demand for these services, that the three major car manufacturers are creating entire commercial ad campaigns around them. The “car” or “van” has become secondary in the commercials, to the “thrill” of the technology bringing you communication and entertainment services. That’s a phase shift of almost epic proportions.
US Telematics is in the forefront of supplying this market with patent protected products that allow for such cutting edge technologies as “hands off” digital texting, and voice recognition email reading. How about full screen, full capability, internet browsing ability, the same features as one would have on a home PC, but in their vehicle? How about complete Video capability with the ability to download and store streaming video from such notable names as Dish Network and Cinema Now? US Telematics has it all, and its turning heads in all the right places.
For instance let’s take a quick look at their Vivee suite. First what’s a Vivee? Its short for Voice Interactive Voice enhanced Email. Combining a Vivee.com service with Vivee hardware and software, this gives drivers the unique ability to read and write text messages and even send Emails without ever taking your eyes off the road. It’s done via voice/speech recognition software and a highly developed human like animated Avatar that “speaks” SMS messages and Email Texts. This provides the driver with the utmost in safety, while keeping him connected while traveling. This has long been the Holy Grail for business travelers, trying to use the “dead time” of driving to do productive work. Yet to do it where driver safety is maintained.
How important is that? On December 23, 2007 the NY Times posted an article in their “Automobile” Section that discussed the safety hazards of cell phone text messaging while driving. Here is a direct quote from the article, “A survey this year by AAA and Seventeen magazine found that 46 percent of drivers 16 and 17 years old said that they text-message while driving. It’s an alarming statistic given that 37 percent of teenage drivers said they believed that text messaging was the most serious driver distraction, according to a survey this year by the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group and Students Against Destructive Decisions.”
USTelematics Vivee service keeps the driver in touch and yet in control. This is a major advantage and allows us the liberty to use the NY Times Article again, because, “The female read-back voice of Vivee is much more natural than Sync’s, and Vivee can also handle e-mail.” Not only is US Telematic’s voice product more natural sounding than that of Sync’s, it’s able to handle Email, something Sync cannot do.
If “Vivee” was USTelematics only product, it would still make UTLM.OB a company worth investigating. But, considering they have an even wider range of products, that do even more incredible things, US Telematics becomes a “must see” up and coming technology powerhouse.
UTLM pays for stock promotion and for people to post messages on ihub, that's always a bad sign.
UTLM Announces Landmark Distribution Agreement to Sell Products in the Nation’s Largest Retail Chains
After the bell today, USTelematics announced major news that they have inked a deal with D&H Distributing to distribute the Company’s industry leading products to the nation’s largest consumer electronics retail chains and stores. The dominant distributor serves Sam’s Club, Wal-Mart, CompUSA, Circuit City, Amazon.com, J&R Computer World, Electronics Boutique, Gamestop, BJ’s, retail college bookstores, and more.
This landmark contract provides USTelematics with the opportunity to roll out its Voyager(TM) Mobile IPTV rear-seat entertainment systems and Vivee(TM) voice enhanced mobile messaging products in many retail channels from smaller, specialty retailers to the largest electronics chains. D&H Distributing is well-known to distribute the most recognized brands such as Microsoft, Lenovo, Samsung, Cisco as well as a number of others.
Howard Leventhal, Chief Executive Officer of USTelematics commented, “Among the benefits D&H provides is dealer financing. Our Voyager product line has an average wholesale price around $500. Multiply this by 10 units per store and a single smaller retailer with 20 stores could conceivably need to purchase $100,000 worth of our goods. For smaller dealers, a large inventory investment like this can inhibit wholesale purchasing. D&H offers dealer “floor plan” wholesale financing, which is designed to remove this sort of buying inhibition and maximize our product representation and sales at all store types.”
He added, “This agreement is particularly valuable to USTelematics because of D&H’s proven track record in successfully recognizing the most exciting new products, and then to play a key role in making those products a success in the marketplace. We are proud and thankful for the opportunity to have our product lines and brand distributed nationally and throughout North America, side-by-side with fine, long-established consumer electronics names currently handled by D&H.”
USTelematics has developed state-of-the-art technology that addresses numerous opportunitites in the estimated $58 billion telematics industry. The company’s innovative, stand-out products offer unmatched features, putting the company in a strategic position to capture market share in a very large market sector.
This is a nice move.

Under the agreement, D&H Distributing will distribute USTelematics’ advanced communications and rear-seat mobile entertainment product lines alongside the world’s best-known electronics brands.
D&H serves many of the largest electronics retailers in North America including Sam’s Club, Wal-Mart, CompUSA, Circuit City, Amazon.com, J&R Computer World, Electronics Boutique, Gamestop, BJ’s, retail college bookstores, and more. Major, well-recognized consumer electronics brands supplied by D&H are Microsoft, Lenovo, Samsung, Cisco and many others.
USTelematics has been in developing stages since its inception in October of 2005. Sales of products should begin shortly and revenues are expected to skyrocket based on the current spending of consumers on automobile electronics. The company has over $1.4 million in working capital and boasts the support of nearly $2.9 million in Assets.
Just needs some cashflow. Waiting to see if they start diluting this heavily.
You're welcome, very nice portfolio of products
UTLM.OB - What’s Hot at CES?
This past week tens of thousands came to the Consumer electronics show in Vegas to witness the latest in cutting edge technology. So, what drew the biggest crowds? Interestingly, it was mobile communications. We say “interestingly” simply because one may have thought that 20 years after the release of the cell phone, we’d be pretty unimpressed with new ways of communicating with each other. Nothing could be further from the truth. Consumers are demanding that they be able to surf the net, watch TV, text message, and check Email no matter where they are, and advances in technology are allowing it to happen. Considering that the market for mobile communications is in the hundreds of billions of dollars globally per year, this is an incredibly exciting realm.
Was there any segment of the communications industry that seemed to draw the most interest? Absolutely. The largest crowds were often huddled around booths that showcased developments in what is known as Telematics. Okay, first a “definition”. Telematics, especially when it comes to the arena of mobile such as in vehicles, is the integrated use of telecommunications and informatics, also known as ICT (Information and Communications Technology). More specifically it is the science of sending, receiving and storing information via telecommunication devices Also, Telematics have been applied to the use of Global Positioning System technology integrated with computers and mobile communications technology in automotive navigation systems.
The recent developments in WiFi and WiMax has led to an explosion of mobile devices with more capabilities than ever before, and that brings us to US Telematics Inc. Trading under the symbol UTLM, US Telematics is engaged in the development and commercialization of next-generation, proprietary technologies to help deliver the totally “wired car,” but of course doing it wirelessly, they can deliver high speed data and entertainment content to private and/or commercial vehicles. The Company has developed cutting edge, patent-protected products that enable voice-driven, hands-free text and email communications, entertainment and Internet data, along with broad additional commercial applications for safety and navigation. That’s a mouthful right there, and yet each and every bullet point is a multibillion dollar market unto itself.
With a 60 billion dollar global marketplace for Telematics, just having a business name called US Telematics is noteworthy of some advanced thinking, but UTLM goes far beyond just a catchy name. Recent revenue sharing deals with such names as Dish Network and Verizon wireless validates just how advanced and serious this company is about profiting from the global explosion for such devices. In fact, each product they’ve developed is worthy of its own in depth article and description, so that investors can truly get the full flavor of the opportunity offered here.
US Telematics. A great name for a tremendous opportunity to get involved with a leader in one of the fastest growing segments of the electronics marketplace on Earth. One would be hard pressed to do better than that.
Ty for posting. Co. is def one to watch.

Its flagship hardware product the Vivee2Go is a Handheld Windows Mobile Pc that has been partnered with the Verizon network to wirelessly download e-mails and play them for users. UTLM Products Featured on National TV Networks from 2008 International CES
USTelematics announced yesterday that its leading-edge products and technologies were highlighted in nearly 200 TV, Radio and Internet News Media during the renowned International Consumer Electronics Show. The company anticipates continued exposure in the news throughout this week on top broadcast television and radio networks, cable networks and leading internet news portals.
The Company’s products were shown beside other leaders in the electronics industry such as Intel, LG, Samsung, JVC, Sony and more. USTelematics stood out as their advances within the mobile-based digital communications, mobile wi-fi internet access and rear-seat entertainment surpasses pre-existing technology. USTelematics’ rear-seat entertainment system as well as its voice enhanced mobile messaging products have been featured by many news media reports in the past.
As stated by the company, “Electronics industry representatives, retailers, reporters and other industry experts have been reviewing USTelematics new products alongside the consumer electronics’ industry’s most innovative products and best known global brands.”
UTLM is “One to Watch”
USTelematics, Inc. is focused on developing and commercializing broadband telecommunications products and services for vehicles. The Company has developed its proprietary Vivee.com online service and intends to commercialize the service soon. The website associates with the Company’s Vivee(TM) client hardware and software products. Vivee enhances mobile messaging and offers safer communication while driving by speaking email and SMS messages through a human-like avatar.
In addition, the Company has also developed a product line titled “Voyager(TM)”, which is a series of mobile digital TV products for rear seat entertainment, gaming as well as fully enabled Internet browsing. While many of the existing mobile devices offer “mobile Web” services, they are not fully-featured and are often unable to handle the normal web browsing taken place in the home. Voyager provides a full-screen browsing experience including streaming video, replicating the same performance and capability as a laptop or desktop PC.
According to the F&S Industry Analyst Meenakshi Ganjoo, “The rear-seat entertainment market, like the consumer electronics market, is set to become a mass market.” USTelematics has attracted the attention of many of the nation’s top news broadcasters and radio stations including CNBC, Colorado 9, WLUP-FM, NY TIMES, TechnoRide, Fleet Ownder, Health News Digest, CNET, WICC, and KDKA. There is excellent potential for USTelematics as its strong management team leads the Company to greater success.
Can't hurt. Co. needs to start generating some revs. I like it but still think it's overpriced and am still watching for now.
they will have some major exposure tommorrow night. I cant imagine better exposure than on CNBC The BIG IDEA with Donny Duetsch .. where the hell is every one ?? This is a big deal isnt it !!
Looking for some exposure to sell into is my guess. The vol is very low on this.
Also received email on it and this was their disclosure. We know most companies use them so I take it with a grain of salt and will try to just look at the company.

Just got a spam email on this co. Looks interesting but it's been issued a going concern opinion and is in need of cash. It's OTCBB and that's a plus. I plan to watch this and do some DD on it. I anticipate a better entry than is currently available and will decide if it's worth it when that time comes. Please feel free to post whatever you think may be useful.
