please take this with the humor intended.....

Keith you have known me long enough to know that I have a very good sense of humor so your post is taken as one that is fully sane in nature as well as containing a valid question/idea.

I can’t speak for Matt or IHUB but I can tell you what I think if you want to hear it. Based on my tenure on IHUB I have found it a true effort to fully understand just what Matt’s intention was with CoB. Once I did, I understood the (strong) bottom line is that he wants a near pure investment site. A place where 99.9% of the posts are about investments unlike what ALL of the other forums have turned into. A forum without backbiting and child’s play by adults with too much time on their hands. A site that is 100% designed by the users but staying within Matt’s vision.

·He has limited the number of topics here for that reason. I suggested that he place some additional categories here to add more flexibility. His answer to me was “if it doesn’t fit in one of the 6 main categories he does not want the thread here. (OTC BB Stocks, Listed & Nasdaq, Canadian Stocks, Stock Clubs, The Lounge, iHub Talk)

·My point being that I personally doubt that he or Bob who is the site manager will entertain a deleted post thread. I think it would serve as a tool for the disruptive poster to cause more disturbances. If you really want to know just ask Matt. He is a straight up guy.

Post deleting is not done to piss people off, it is done to keep a thread on topic, stop spammers and personal attacks. As far as a poster getting deleted by a one or two man jury you have overlooked the fact that a deleted post goes straight to IH Adman Bob. He makes the call from there. If the post should not have been deleted then Bob restores it.

you dont have to spend time deleting posts, nor defending the deletion.

I recall repeatedly reading one of your major complaints about having deleted posts was that I didn’t respond to your inquiries about why the deletions were made. This should give you an idea of how much time I spend defending deletions. <g>

A couple of sincere things that I would like to share with you are; If you want to post please do so but be nice and play by the rules. I’m used to people tweaking me on other threads and even other forums, as you already know. I take all of that with a grain of salt and truly am not bothered by it. Life is too short to dwell on negatives.

You will like this I think, I asked dealer to take me off of her thread as a director last night and she did. I Pm’ed Bob and Matt that I had done this and for a reason which is to see if people can come here and treat one another with dignity and respect as if they were standing face to face with one another other.
