The main action is to get money or stock from Primrose and from Aurora as they got the Primrose Mine for so little after that mine did 174 million in one year and the next it was sold for only R 25 million rand!

That was bought by Aurora and that was owned by the nephew of president Zuma of South Africa who had Black Ownership of mines as one of his campaign programs. Also the grandson of Nelson Mandella was on Aurora and then the personnal lawyer of President Zuma was sent to run Aurora Empowerment.

Then they turned themselves or Aurora into LABAT AFRICA. They took the several mines of Aurora with them and then they each left LABAT AFRICA all of a sudden.

Now what?

great information Echo...wondering if any legal action is possible against CGHI Board including Dale Paul who was in charge early on. I recall that he had a large investment in CGHIthroug a family owned investmetn fund.

Guessing he recovered some of this investment while the average stock holder was left with nothing but valueless stock.

I don't know if Shell has anything to do with Escopeta. It took a long time to get it to Alaska because of some antiquated laws (The Jones Act) and the lack of american companies that would do the job of moving the jack up rig to Alaska.
The Jones Act prohibits foreign companies of doing this type of service (moving something from one american port to another or something to that effect). I had the Jones Act memorized 25 years ago for my Alaska history class, but time erodes my memory.
Escopeta was in the proverbial "Catch 22" situation. Escopeta had to get waivers, and that took forever. The actual trip only took about 4-6 months (I'm guessing on that part).

The CGHI story went to Aurora Empowerment and that. Was then managed
By South African president Zumas lawyer.

President Zuma had his personal lawyer run Aurora Empowerment.
His nephew and the grandson of Nelson Mandela worked at Aurora
Empowerment also.

Aurora is for. BLACK OWNERSHIP of mines in South Africa. That was part of President Zumas election
Campaign .

Aurora then merged into and with Labat Africa, LAB: JSE.

Then:

Labat Africa Ltd. announced that at a company board meeting held on 17 June at 23 Kroton Avenue, Weltevreden Park, the Aurora representatives namely Messrs M Hulley, Z Mandela, K Zuma and T Ngubane were replaced as directors with immediate effect and the following directors, Messrs Brian Jacobs and Dumisani Barrington Simphiwe Lupungela were elected as independent non-executive directors to serve in their place. Brian was employed by Telkom for a period of 22 years and resigned from a senior management position in 1999 to pursue personal business interests. Lupungela has worked as a security advisor to the Premier and Director General of the Eastern Cape Provincial government until 2006.

The leader of Aurora just left Labat Africa with no explanation.
That is where this has lead to.

Echo..similar expereince...I lost a lot of money on this stock beleiving they had a great chace to reap big profits with the Alaska gas exploration. Never did understand how CGHI spun this company off w/out investors gettng anything in return ...same with primrose gold mine sale. Ivestors simply were take for a ride.

I was in this stock several years ago, and lost alot of money. Back then they were in plans/partnership with the oil company Escopeta. This was about 2005 or so. Escopeta was trying to get a jack up rig to Alaska to drill some wells in Cook Inlet. They finally made it here this summer. The following link is an update on their progress. It looks like they found gas on their first attempt. I don't know if they still have any ties to cghi...I just want to forget about my nightmare with this stock. GLTA

Don't worry. Some Pack of Moose Pasture Perps will want this badly enough for the word "Gold" in its name that they'll clean it up and bring it back to life. Not a question of "if", only "when". "When" will probably be as the price of gold reaches a new, all-time, inflation-adjusted high, currently estimated at around $2,400 an ounce, depending on whose inflation adjustment calculations one chooses to use dating back to the old 1980 high in the $800's.

dis0wned, only buy if you are going to day trade and sell on a few .0001s of a rise. They gave everything away a few years ago. CGHI no longer owns anything of value.

Still no word from President Zuma, Zandwa Mandella, or South Africa.

The Aurora Empowerment company is still turning itself into Labat Africa.

When at first I wrote to President Zuma there was a reply that sounded like they thoought I was proposing some kind of stock deal. Now this is a stock deal with Aurora Empoweerment and President Zuma and Labat Africa.

That deal sounds like it is working on money and deals to get enough to get Aurora Mining through the rough periods and into prosperity.

I hope they make it and the same with our program.

I did sell my stock but still have an interest in the stock of CGHI and from the date of 2006 forward.

There is a legal case on that for some 27 cghi stockholders from that time period going on still.

Also if the SEC gets involved that might go for other investors as well and that is pure speculation!

I am not the expert on this stock but it is as if a ghost stock unless someone takes over the CGHI label with another company.

I have sold my shares some time ago.

I have been here quietly for a L-O-N-G time. Just honestly wanted you all to look at a very small stock (ACTC.OB). I really believe this to be the one that will make millionaires of its shareholders. Do the research... I am sure you will agree...2011 will be the year....Stemcell (without destroying the embro) that cures blindness, grows heartcells, makes blood......NO DEBT!!! was .04 one month ago, now .19 and climbing....check it out.

Updated 7 hours agoTEXT SIZE JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Embattled Aurora Empowerment Systems said on Wednesday that it was being held under siege by illegal miners plundering the Grootvlei mine, east of Johannesburg.

Aurora GM Louis Lamsley said that the “extremely violent” illegal miners had been stripping unused shafts of metal and other valuables since the mine went on to care and maintenance in March.

The situation forced the company to “beef up” its security on Friday, which according to Lamsley has led to the arrest of more than 300 illegal miners.

“We are not sure how many more of these illegal miners are down in the shafts. The security guards have to wait for them to come out of the shafts before arresting them, it is too dangerous to go down the shafts.”

The recent arrests had led to a shoot-out between the police and the illegal miners, leaving one illegal miner wounded.

In August, security guards at the mine shot and killed four illegal miners.

“It will cost tens of millions of rand to repair the damage that has been done by these illegal miners,” said Lamley.

Aurora had been struggling with a lack of funds since it took over from the liquidated Pamodzi Gold in October last year. The Department of Labour has indicated that the company owed its workers more than R11-million, or about five months in wages.

A State-owned Chinese mining company reportedly made a $100-million bid to take a 65% stake in Aurora and take operational control of Grootvlei and the Orkney mine.

Lamley said that additional funds from certain “interested parties” could be well used to get the mine up and running again. “The plan is still to restart production at these mines.”

Like a name floating on the Internet with no volume.
A vacant shell of a company.

However the previous company CGHI was ripped off on selling the Primrose Mine to Keith Hart in 2006 for $2.6 million dollars.

That mine then in less than two years produced $154 to $174 million dollars in gold in 2008. Then in 2009 the Primrose Mine was sold to Aurora Empowerment for only R 25 million rand!
Sort of fishy.

Now Aurora Empowerment is turning itself into Labat South Africa and has several gold mines to it's name.

Aurora Empowerment is run by the lawyer of President Zuma of South Africa and his nephew was the leader as well as the grandson of Nelson Mandela. Closely watched by President Zuma at this time.

The matters of the rip off of the Primrose Mine by Keith Hart has the attention of President Zuma who wants Aurora Empowerment to succeed as they are for Black Ownership of mines in South Africa as opposed to taking the mines by eminent domain. Aurora buys mines.

However there is no real connection of CGHI to any real company now.

There is no remaining connection any more between this company and anything going on anywhere in South Africa.

The only asset this company has of any value is the word "Gold" in its corporate name.
