Login/Logout

Login takes you to the login page. Enter your username/password to access your account. Keep the checkbox checked if you'd like to stay logged in, even after you leave iHub. Clicking Logout logs you out of the system completely. You'll need to re-enter your username/password the next time you go to iHub.

Home

This takes you directly to the homepage, where you can view any important announcements, the board spotlight, new boards, and new subscribers.

Mailbox

Mailbox is very similar to e-mail. Members can send you private messages by going to your profile. They will be stored here and are only viewable/accessible by you. You can read and reply from the Mailbox. The mailbox also alerts you to new public messages, on any board, that are posted to you. You will be instantly notified of new messages, private or public, by an increase in the counter -- Mailbox (9). More information on the Mailbox

Boards

Boards gives a detailed map and directory of the discussion boards on the site. To the left are premium boards; to the right are Free boards. Simply click an underlined category to go deeper into the directory.

Favorites

Favorites is the start page and the most-used page for the majority of the folks here. It stores all of your favorite boards, people, and research links in one place. To set a Person Mark: Go to the Profile of the person you want to Person Mark. Click "Add A Person Mark." To set a Board Mark: Go to the Board you want to Board Mark. On the bottom right of the opening iBox, or on the blue bar of any message on that board, click "Add Board Mark."

Hot!

Hot! displays where the action is at. The Active Boards list displays a list of 50 boards with activity on them, in order of most recent post. The Top Boards list displays the Top Boards based on a super-secret formula that figures in age, boardmarks, posts, and other criteria. New Subjects displays the newest boards created on the site. Site stats shows real-time site stats, such as members and posts.

Tools

Tools allows you to customize your experience here on iHub. You can edit your profile, change the colors, add/subtract features, and much more. We have created an entire FAQ just for the Tools section.
