There are so many confused people and non believers about Ex date etc over on PAIM that I posted this.

Absolute proof that you can buy the day before Ex Dividend date, sell the stock on Ex Dividend Date, and get the dividend.
In this case it was MLON, and on Ex Date it had changed to PYCT so I was technically short on PYCT once I sold it, and technically still long MLON...according to my broker that is, until they had actually received the proper stock and posted to my account.
I would have sold the XMET then too, but it's pretty worthless right now, hoping Mario pumps it someday before he's toasted.
LOL if I've missed blacking out my account number or something like that, let me know quick please.
