Thunder Sword Resources Receives Encouraging Results from Fugro Airborne Surveys on Its American Lake Property

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, June 21 /CNW/ - Thunder Sword Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:THU - News). As earlier reported, the Company has the option to acquire seven claim blocks totaling 22 dispositions covering 74,772 hectares of highly prospective uranium exploration lands. The properties are located along the southern edge of the Athabasca Basin in Northern Saskatchewan. The portfolio of properties provides exploration opportunities for economic unconformity uranium deposits and Eagle Point type uranium deposits. Some claims cross the margin of the Athabasca Basin while other claims lie entirely inside the Basin.
Thunder Sword recently received the first of a set of Airborne Geophysical Reports from Fugro Airborne Surveys of Ottawa, Canada. Airborne data covering all of Thunder Sword's Optioned claims have been completed and are undergoing processing and interpretation. The newly completed 826 Km data set on our Kercher/American Lake property, which was undertaken in April 2006, suggests encouraging results. Fugro states in their report on the American Lake Property that, "Significant conductors within the survey areas have been outlined on the interpretation map...", and in certain areas of the claims "Almost all lines display well-defined profile shapes with indication of a southeast dipping conductor. Strong response on all EM grids and correlation to the magnetic trends suggesting structural control." Thunder Sword's management is now planning for further exploration of these anomalous features. The Kercher Lake properties cover most of a "possible meteorite impact structure (2003 Saskatchewan Geological Survey)" providing a unique exploration target for the company. Earlier Airborne work shows numerous conductors contained within the circular structure at Kercher Lake.
Thunder Sword is also pleased to announce that it has been listed on the Frankfurt Exchange under the symbol T8R.ETR.
