This service is the combination of a game, auction and sweepstakes. In reverse auctions customers can win high value auction items for pennies such as cars, trips, tickets, etc.

Rather than bidding in ever increasing amounts until a winner emerges, reverse auctions work in a different way. The idea is that bidders place what they think will be the lowest unique bid to win the auction.

The important thing to remember here is that the bid has to be unique to win, i.e. the lowest amount that no one else has also placed.

Reverse auctions are extremely compelling to play. You have a real chance of winning a high value item for very little outlay. This is what makes the concept so successful. Who wouldn’t pay $1.00 for the chance to win a car!
