Hello, all:

If I were going to nominate someone for having the “Post of the Week” last week it would probably have to be a tie between kPOD’s post # 1384 and CPIM’s response to it in post # 1389. My mention of these is certainly not meant to minimize or detract from anyone else’s post, since most all of them have proven insightful and helpful in so many ways.

What I found particularly compelling about the two aforementioned posts was their ability to create a vision of just what we’ve got in our hands – and where we might be headed.

Take, for example, these comments from kPOD’s post:

“The reason why I believe this to be an exciting ride is that, firstly, the technology is almost a wonder to me.

I think it will profoundly change, well, everything. I have no trouble seeing that it could be bigger than life. Apart from its "standard" (saying as if each of the industries didn't mean billions by itself already) mobile, home electronics, aviation etc., I am excited for products that were not possible or commercially viable until now (like heated jackets, socks, gloves etc.)

The only limit to its uses now is the imagination and the world's inventive minds, currently dormant, are just waiting to be triggered when they hear "by the way" that ElectriPlast exists. Imagine what happens once the product developers in big consumer names find it out, not just in the electronics market, but in pretty much everything that is "tactile".”

and then, CPIM’s response:

“Anyway, I couldn't agree more, concerning new industry sectors. Right now, EP is basically looking at patents for RF/Wireless, Thermal, Light, and electrical power conduction. And you are so correct that open our minds to imagine will open discoveries not yet even known on the planet.

For instance, can you imagine that with EP processed technology we might even begin looking into structural applications of plastic? What if instead of a bridge or high-rise building made of steel and cement, which has certain design limitations, perhaps future structures will be built with highly lightweight but structurally superior doped plastics, that have amazing design capabilities, greater physical flexibility and configuration, maybe easier to obtain, shorter lead times, easier construction assembly, and significantly cheaper as well? Steal for structures is becoming as costly as precious metal. And construction with steel requires the heaviest of expensive construction equipment. Just a thought, probably not yet really in discussion.”

Even the news this morning regarding our license agreement with ADAC Automotive points to a few things many may have never even considered before: Heating? Cooling? Exterior and interior telematics? How cool is that?

All of the above lead to a few thoughts:

Many here have seen or heard of that TV show, Earth II. Most may have even seen Val Kilmer in the movie Red Planet.

Both shows have one thing in common -- they featured a nifty PDA device that was paper thin and expanded as the attached pictures show. Basically, this PDA was used as a

Communication Device

Scanner

and a GPS Mapping Service

in both the TV show and movie.

Such devices can actually become a near-term future standard with the advent of ElectriPlast and a bit of tech wizardry.

What I propose is to get this group involved in the quest of further considering "what is possible" when it comes to not only this as an investment, but more, what might become of this ElectriPlast IP as it makes its way to the market place, and how it may grow from there.

Not to be “out done” by anyone, our own nysepick has shown he has quite a handle on the possibilities associated with ElectriPlast and has demonstrated such in his posts here and in those articles he's written for the blog.

How about you? Perhaps you’ve always had the desire to draft a copy for publishing on the ElectriPlast Blog, ( http://electriplast.blogspot.com/ ) but never knew quite how to go about getting started. It’s really quite simple, but I’ll leave that explanation to the Publisher and Editor of the blog. Contact information can be found on the blog itself.

Is anyone here up to such a challenge? You can be assured that your efforts will not be wasted.

regards,
gktignol
