ETrade setting up further smoke screen.

Here is a response I got from them today. Please see the part regarding certs:

Message: Dear Mr. XXXX,

I apologize for the delay in receiving your Soma Petroleum shares from the Equitable Mining spin off. Your account was credited with X shares of SOMA PETROLEUM LIMITED on 12/22/06. We distribute shares from reorganizations as soon as we receive them from the companies transfer agent.
To request a certificate, please go online under Accounts>Transfer Money> Request Securities Certificate.

Please bear in mind the following:

-Not all securities issue paper certificates.
-It can take four to six weeks to issue certificates.
-E*TRADE Securities assesses a fee of $40 to issue a stock certificate. The funds must be available in your account before your request is submitted.

Looks like they are trying to set us up for the long wait for certs.
