Ok, here is my pick. At some point this year, this stock will rocket IMO. That's good enough, because I will freeze it for a 100% gain and end up in the upper 20% of this contest. Well, that's the theory anyway.
Here is the profile for TBYH. This is a sexy Chinese stock.
"T-Bay Holdings, Inc. provides solutions and design services to mobile handset brand owners in China. It designs exterior outlook and mechanical structures, printed circuit board layouts, and baseband and radio frequency parts of mobile handsets, as well as software for mobile handsets, LVD displays, cameras, harmonic ring tones, and MP3 functions. The company also manufactures components and/or the mobile handsets. In addition, T-Bay Holdings provides product testing and after-sale technical support services. The company was founded in 2002 and is based in China."
Let's see.... CHINA..... technology..... communication. Hum.
Now, as to the fundamentals, TBYH is one of the 37 stocks in my ChVMC07 index. All stocks in this index are conservatively valued Chinese stocks.
TBYH has a market cap of 66M and a float of 12M. The current ratio (financial condition) is a very good 2.24. The PE is a very low 6 - and this is despite excellent growth.
Here are the technicals: TBYH went from $1.25 to $4.25 last January when I had it for PSL2. What that shows is how explosive it is. It has since drifted back to $1.50 where it bottomed 6 weeks ago. It has crept back up to $2.18 and appears poised for a take off. Of course, that may not happen before more back and forth, but I'm confident it will happen sometime in the next 50 weeks.
