I've gotten some interesting e-mails this weekend from people I have blocked from activation, but this one tops them all. I know that I might be blocking some legitimate folks, but I clearly state I will not accept hotmail, yahoo accounts.

Here's a good one. I want to comment to him publicly because of the last two paragraphs. And because of who I think he is.

Note: About half-way through composing my reply to this guy, I figured out who he was. It's our local spam king. So forgive me for cutting loose on him. I couldn't help it. :)

>Mr. Brown, what's going on here? I recommended your site to several friends.
>They tried to register and ran into all sorts of problems. Please don't make
>promises that you do not intend to keep. Don't tell us tro invite friends,
>then make fools of us. This is crap! You sir, have become "spamophobic."
>Grow up, please! You may someday be successful in eliminating spammers, but
>what will you have left? A ghost town?
You have become so obsessed with
>spammers that you seem to have forgotten us legitimate people. Good God man,
>back off, will you please! You are becoming an embarrassment to yourself. If
>you don't want us legitimate folks around, then just say so. Enough is
>enough. You have become obsessed!

My reply...

>Mike,
>
>Ran into problems such as what? They couldn't get past the registration
>page or couldn't get me to activate their account?
>
>If first, then let me know what's wrong.
>
>If latter, then it's probably because they didn't use a non-free account.
>
>If you had to delete over 10,000 messages made by spammers, you'd be putting
>a stop to it as well.

>What is your alias on the site?

His reply...

Yes Mr. Brown, I am indeed referring to the issue of suddenly announcing that you no longer permit free e-mail accounts. You claimed you observed that about 30 people registered with free e-mail accounts and that you immediately concluded that they were all spammers. Say what? You mean that you were able to identify a spammer just by observing that he signed up with a free e-mail account? You must be kidding! As I said previously, you are "spamophobic!"

When 30-60 accounts are signed up with identical registration information, it tends to give things away. Moron.

First of all, you went back on your own word. You contacted all of us but never said a single word about not being permitted to use free e-mail accounts. Did you? I have a copy of your first letter. There is no mention of that whatsoever.
Further, simply because a person owns a free e-mail account HARDLY qualifies him as a crook or a spammer, now does it? I have a couple free accounts, such as this one. So are you accusing ME of being a spammer? I haven't posted any messages anywhere in several months. I read messages on your site as well as RB and YHOO, but I am by NO means a spammer and I take umbrage at your accusation!

Hey good news, while I was reading this message, I figured out who you were. Kind of sucks when you no longer can pull the stuff you used to eh, Marek? You would know what a crook is, judging by your recent issues with the SEC. I never accused you of being a spammer in the e-mails, but if you are indeed, Marek, I dare you to come to the US.

I very rarely give out my pop mail account and I sure as heck don't plan on giving it to you either. And I find it incredulous that you are now demanding this of everyone wishing to use your site!

Private site, private company. Go back to RB. Yeah, you only fork over your e-mail to people who will pay you $90-250k to push their POS companies.

In fact, one of my friends who was denied registration on your site simply because he uses a free account is an attorney. He says you may very well find yourself on the wrong end of a class action lawsuit. What you have just done is extremely discriminatory. You cannot draw the conclusion that simply because an individual uses a free account that he is a spammer. And yet that is exactly what you have just done. You are discriminating against anyone and everyone who uses a free account. This is preposterous, and illegal..

ROFL! Class action suit because I denied someone activation over a hotmail account? LOL! Oh man, you are good. Discriminatory? It's called filtering out people I don't want, such as yourself and your staff. This is a new one on me though. Free e-mail account discrimination when signing up. Ohhhh...throw me in jail. I am sooo evil for trying to maintain quality.

As much as you may not like spammers, there is a huge group of us who are very strong proponents of the right to free speech and the right to privacy.

So, you are Marek. Nobody like spam. Spam isn't free speech, you twit. Spam is theft and a crime. You are taking a private community, breaking in the door, and promoting your product without paying. Illegal advertising. Again, come to the US and we'll have some fun with you Island boy.

Further, we personally hate discrimination on any level whatsoever, and YOU have just discriminated against US.

Us? As in spammers. You are one sick, law-breaking fraudster.

(Note to everybody reading this...make sure you read this one carefully! LOL!)

My attorney friend is a noted Civil Rights attorney and activist. If he gathers enough disenfranchised folks who have been discriminated against by you by blocking their registrations simply on the basis of the fact that they tried to register, or may try to register in the future, using a free mail account, because you have drawn the ludicrous conclusion that any and all of us who use free accounts are spammers, well let's just say that you better plan on acquiring a bank loan to pay your legal bills. I hope he initiates suit against you. Much worse than spammers are those who blatantly practice discrimination!

You keep defending spammers. Undisputed Volume King, you are losing your touch...and your volume, apparently. I would *LOVE* for you and your dingleberry lawyer friend to sue me. Matter of fact, I'll send you my proper contact information. But only if you will provide me with a real e-mail account.

You will have a great deal of difficulty in Federal Court proving that all thirty people who attempted to register using free e-mail accounts are spammers and thusly denied the same privileges as those using pop mail accounts. And yet that is precisely what you said, in public, on the Internet in big bold red letters. And believe me he has a record of it regardless of whether you remove it or not. Just because you are experiencing a problem with spammers hardly gives you the right to trample on our Civil Rights!

I don't have to prove anything. I can deny anybody access to the site for any reason I want. This isn't a public park. It's a private community that I own. Matter of fact, I don't like you. Now go away. There are no civil rights where you live. You live on an Island. You run an illegal business! You've been busted for stock fraud! And you are slamming me? Again, I am fully ready and willing for you to sue me over this. Trust me, had you been in America, we'd already be sipping tea and crumpets over a out of court settlement discussion to sponsor everybody on this site to have free level 2 and streaming quotes for life.

In closing, you are a fraudster. Quit wasting me time and go get a real job where you help and educate people instead of harming them.

MB....the undisputed spam spanking and offshore fraudster whoopass king

EDIT: I just matched up the e-mails with the IP addresses from my previous encounter with him as posted above. Turns out, I was right. This guy was him. What a sicko. I don't think he slipped any by me this weekend. But if so, it was very few. Guess we'll be pretty spam free from now on. Woo hoo.
