Here is a general summary of the Market Matters Interview of Doctors Mark Hart and John Reeves. It was reassuring to me to hear a progress report directly from these two executives of West Hawk.
NATURAL GAS
Figure Four natural gas property in Colorado: its first hole has been drilled to the depth of 11,100 and the well looks very promising.
The rig has been moved to the pad #2 and drilling will begin 2 or 3 days [from the date of the interview].
Completion of well hole #1 looks promising at all signatures and should on line in two or three weeks.
ENCANA RELATIONSHIP
Both Doctors Hart and Reeves have worked on various activities with Encana prior to joining West Hawk.
Dr. Reeves worked as a consultant for Encana in the mergers, acquisitions, divestures group. Dr. Reeves has worked in the oil and gas industries all of his life. He has been intimately involved in the development of the Figure Four project.
COAL GASIFICATION
Up and coming technology of the future, although it has been around for a long time.
Critical as it can provide clean energy and meets the Kyoto
requirements.
It is expected to permeate the world in next several decades.
Coal is very plentiful, some say that there is 25 times more coal than oil or gas.
Ability to capture 95% of CO2. Can also capture mercury and arsenic.
Provides energy security as it reduces our reliance on imports.
Gasification will bring a lot to the standard of living for all people around the world.
LU'AN MINING RELATIONSHIP
This is a strategic relationship based on a parallel vision, focused on gasification, and both executives are very excited of this venture.
