This project required a massive road building effort to access
the remote well site.

To achieve Table Top's proposed depth, a giant conductor
pipe is required to provide enough diameter to allow
multiple, concentric, strings of casing.
The conductor pipe is being readied to “dry drill."
Before drilling can commence, the conductor pipe must be “dry drilled” nearly 235 feet through an enormous subsurface, boulder field. The conductor will seal off the boulder field and prevent drilling fluids from leaking off.
Christmas Meadows, and the exact spot the well will be “punched,”await the arrival of the massive drilling rig in August 2006.
