UPDATE: 2003 INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE & EXHIBIT / TAPPI 2003
During the days of May 4-7 AGES took part in the 2003 International Environmental Conference & Exhibit in Portland, Oregon, USA. This particular conference and exhibit deals with the environmental aspects of the pulp and paper industry. As a result of this show, AGES will be working with the technical staff of Georgia Pacific in Atlanta, GA, with a view to arrive at solutions for a particular sludge stream generated by one of their larger deinking facilities. This was one of a number of high quality contacts made following the technical presentation given by Andy Burns of AGES.
The new TTR concept was illustrated by AGES in its exhibition booth by using video of an operational KDS machine processing wet paper sludge. Before and after samples of the sludge were on display to demonstrate the effectiveness of the TTR solution.
