F___ YOU, Dick!

According to news reports Vice-President Dick Cheney claims that the obscenity that he directed towards Senator Patrick Leahy was “long overdue.” As everyone knows by now it was just a couple of days ago on the Senate floor that Cheney – perturbed at Leahy and others questioning his role in the Haliburton shenanigans – told Leahy to “go fuck yourself.” Cheney told Fox news that he “felt better” after uttering the epithet. Following the Vice-President’s logic, and me being a private citizen and all, I want the chance to ask Mr. Cheney my own questions regarding his role in Haliburton’s rape of the American taxpayer.

Me – Frank Pitz – Private Citizen:

Dick, I really need to know just how much money you are making through Haliburton’s crooked business dealings?

Mr. Cheney, Do you have a private phone line to the corporate offices of Haliburton through which you direct the rip off of the American taxpayer – or do you just use e-mail for those dealings?

Dear Mr. Vice-President, Would you tell us citizens just how much blood money – given 850 dead soldiers so far in Iraq – you would be comfortable depositing in your various bank accounts; and, is there a limit which – either death or accumulation of lucre – makes you uncomfortable?

I have a plethora of questions I truly would like to ask you Mr. Cheney, as well I have a lot of questions for that puppet George of yours but then, if I have the two of you I just need to ask the questions once. I have questions also for Donald Rumsfeld and that gang over in the Pentagon, gosh what’s a private citizen to do?

You know, I just love the arrogance you guys exhibit I mean, it must be great to just be able to tell any damn lie you please – as long as you please – and then if anyone questions you can just say: “go fuck yourself.”

Really, like isn’t that just the epitome of the old ‘Robber Baron’ mindset Dick; you know the old “hooray for me and fuck you.” You guys there in Washington and your corporate pimps do it so damn well, I mean you really hold the patent on it Dick. What chance does a private citizen like myself stand against such a united front of political and corporate malfeasance? There is no getting around the fact that you and your crooked bedfellows have a lock on all things political, corporate and moral. Damn, such absolute power must be mind boggling Richard. I’ll bet you have wet dreams on a nightly basis just thinking about having a license to kill, and plunder. Nothing in Wyoming to compare to this Mr. Vice-President, or is there? Shooting ducks in a barrel maybe?

Now, just being a private citizen Dick, and not having a hell of a lot to hold onto since you guys came to town I tend to get a bit frustrated at my lot in life. I’m hoping that you might be able to understand that, though somehow being the good corporate rapist that you are any understanding I might get from you would be in the dictionary between “tough” and “shit.” I haven’t all the high powered friends you have Mr. Vice-President, I’m just a 66 year old guy here in South Florida trying to make it like so many others.


We are the constituency that you and your friends keep dumping on and it is really getting old Mr. Cheney. Just like your corporate pimp friends, we also need a break. We are not asking for millions in blood money, we are not asking anyone to die for our sins – small as they may be – we are not running hither and yon telling lies in order to wage war on anyone. All we want is access to decent and affordable medical care. It would also be nice to have a prescription drug plan which is affordable, and makes sense. A suitable price for a gallon of gas would also be nice; it pains us to be underwriting your good friends in Saudi Arabia. Oh, while I’m thinking about it I (as well as others) would like to know just how much you got from selling us all down the pike during those oh so secret energy meetings you held? Gosh, I just keep thinking of more and more things I want to ask Dick, dealing with a crook of your caliber just brings out the interrogator in me.

I really have to go now Mr. Vice-President, the more I think and write about all this treachery generated by you and your corporate bedfellows on the good citizens of this country, the more disconcerted I become. Not unlike yourself Dick - being badgered by Patrick Leahy until you reached the end of your patience and decorum - I find myself in that same predicament. I feel frustrated, helpless, and tormented by lies and thievery in our government, all of which you are a part and parcel of Mr. Cheney. I’m not a big, powerful person like you Mr. Vice-President, and I don’t like to think of myself as arrogant, however I can cuss like you sir. Citing your example as related to Mr. Leahy sir, I have to tell you that what I am about to direct towards you is “long overdue.” Mr. Cheney, sir: go fuck yourself! There, now I feel better after saying that.
