Now, about crossover of wafer starts, this doesn't really tell us a lot, does it?

I think it does indeed:

Hector was very specific the day before yesterday about 90nm.
First Volume waferstarts in May.
Crossover (in terms of waferstarts) K8/K7 Summer 05.
Conversion completed by end of 05 (except for some waferstarts e.g. for GeodeNX continuing for quite a while).

As mas elaborated, 130/90nm SoI migration is just an issue of yields, assuming 130nm-products remain competitive for next year.

In essence, from the information given you might be able to model 90nm-yield versus 130nm yield curves as AMD sees it currently.

p.s: In my model, delaying waferstart-crossover really did not make any significant difference. I think this applies for the analyst models as well, they would have kicked on the topic otherwise.
