Ginger Baker - drums/vocals - b. Peter Baker on August 19, 1939, Lewisham, England; formerly with Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated, The Graham Bond Organisation, and Cream.
Steve Winwood - keyboards/vocals - b. May 12, 1948, Birmingham, England; formerly with The Spencer Davis Group and Traffic.
Rick Grech - bass/violin - b. November 1, 1946, Bordeaux, France; d. March 17, 1990; formerly with Family.

Rick Grech joined Ginger Baker's Air Force; later played with Traffic, The Crickets, and KGB <with Mike Bloomfield, Carmine Appice (formerly with Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, and Beck, Bogert, and Appice), and Barry Goldberg.>
