From Los Angeles, California. Originally named The Thirteenth Floor. The Grass Roots were one of the most played bands on radio from 1966-1975. From their first hit, Where Were You When I Needed You, in 1966 the Grass Roots had a string of 14 Top 40 hits that kept the band on the charts nearly every week. Midnight Confessions, Live For Today, Sooner Or Later, and Temptation Eyes are still heard daily on classic hits stations nationwide.
