Michael Quatro - A multitalented entertainer and entertainment owner/executive, who has enjoyed worldwide public and critical acclaim as a popular recording artist, composer, publisher, producer, singer, songwriter, pianist, radio TV, movie and Broadway performer. His achievements include 48 gold and multi-platinum record awards and 8 million worldwide album sales. Michael began his classical musical career at the age of seven performing on piano with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He received his initial training from Misha Kotler (of Russia). In 1955 at age 12, he turned "pop" as he performed weekly solo's for an audience of 12 million TV fans in Hollywood on the ABC television "Lawrence Welk" top tunes. After a 12 million people a week exposure, Quatro returned to the Detroit area to perform at society and industrial concerts, shows, and perform with acts like Pewee Hunt, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, and other named entertainers.

From age 23-27 during a basic performing hiatus, Michael established a nation-wide booking, production, management and promotion agency which helped find, launch and develop the careers of talent such as Bob Seger, Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, Susie Quatro, MC-5, Iggy Pop, Dick Wagner, George Clinton (Parliment Funkadelic) and countless others. This period highlighted his promotion of 110 music festivals and shows attended by over 1,000,000 fans in eight states and culminated by the "Rolling Stones 1969 Tour" and the "Midsummer Nites Rock" (June 1970), syndicated by AVCO, Embassy and premiered live by NBC Television and Metromedia.

Returning to performing, Quatro became a classical-rock phenomenon. From 1970 to 1982, Quatro released seven rock-classical albums on major labels, including United Artists, Motown, Logenne Symphonette, Capital, Roulette and Polygram. During this time, Michael toured and appeared live in front of 20 million fans and sold over eight million records in 52 countries. A list of over 161 TV shows, 3400 radio and 2800 major press interviews and critical acclaim and quotes, both prints and video, are available from this time period. Michael performed at all the international U.S.major pop-rock venues, including Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl. Michael opened on headline concerts with such luminaries as Aerosmith, Count Besie, Bachman Turning, Alvin Lee, Ted Nugent, Fleetwood Mac, Kiss, Gordon Lightfoot, Jethro Tull, R.E.O. Speedwagon, Doors, Doobie Brothers, Rare Earth, Bob Seger, Beach Boys, Queen, Elton John, Don McLean, Alice Cooper, Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, BB King, Guess Who, Blue Oyster Cult, Jefferson Starship and Vladimir Horowitz. He performed 125 to 150 concerts a year, including 28 major pop festivals and three audiences of over 300,000 fans each. Included in this period where six symphony appearances, most notable, the Kansas City Philharmonic and the Scandinavian Symphony.

Michael Quatro is currently the CEO/Chairman of Quatrophonic Music Corporation, a new international, privately owned record and music video label which signs and markets new and emerging talent. The company also owns strategic stock in an internet web computer software firm called "NAMS" that sells and downloads music and audio on the worldwide web.

Mr. Quatro still continues to make records, videos, public appearances, TV, radio and does press interviews to support his own personal albums and the future success of Quatrophonic Music Corporation.

Personal

Michael creates and records his music "live" at the moment of conception, just as you would hear in a live concert. His music is delivered to the listener first-draft in an age devoid of same. Most artists re-record and electronically re-create; Michael does not. Quatro performs most all the instruments on his records. Similar Entertainment has produced a collection of three videos and behind-the-scenes footage from the current "Vision" album. On both projects, Quatro is donated a portion of his artist royalties to Greenpeace and other environmental organizations.

He owned and operated his own entertainment company that successfully booked and/or managed and/or was involved in launching the careers of numerous entertainers including Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, MC-5, Iggy Pop, Suzi Quatro, Rational, SRC and Ted Nugent. In this capacity, he also produced and promoted as many as 235 live concerts including the first rock special for television. "Midsummer Night's Rock was syndicated worldwide with AVCO Embassy and Metromedia. Quatro has maintained his worldwide contacts with established artists, agents, and industry executives for 40 years.
