Intel dual core demonstration:
Today, they did a demo with a dual core pentium running in a 915 chipset motherboard... They showed three systems running the same group of applications with a CPU meter running. The "Normal" system was running at 100% utilization. With hyperthreading turned on, the utilization dropped below 100%. With a dual core processor, the utilization dropped even more.

This answers a few questions that have been running around here:
Intel Dual core will work in existing motherboards
Intel has working dual core pentium silicon... and it appears to work very well indeed!
