Membermarks…I just wanted to address this topic for any newcomers who were not already familiar with these little goodies, since I had a couple of PM’s asking about this.
The reason for using them is that the members you mark then begin to show up in bold print on your screen. It makes it easier to focus on some of the posters you may particularly wish to read, or at least to read first. Even better is that then you will find these members in your FAVORITES folder, you can click on their name and you can browse all of their posts, for like forever, I think.
The way to do it is to click on the member name at the top left of the post you are reading. This takes you to their profile. Under the green “Profile for Whoever” heading, you will see the phrase “Add Person Mark”. Click this and you’re done.
There are a lot of little things about the iHub site that can make it more convenient and usable. I am still finding new tricks and settings. Explore!
