It could stay oversold for a week or wo, that could be enough to at least challenge 2100 where we have a lot of resistance. After some consolidation here, I think there is a pretty good chance we now are getting ready to put in another bull leg. Particularly if the consolidation involves only closing the gap at 2007. This notion may be abandoned if 1940 is breached. Right now, I do not see such a breach in the next two months.

By the way, for our friendly gold bugs. I have a relatively strong buy signal on NEM and miners in general. Buying NEM here in the $34.75/$35.5 area with a stop just under $34 might be a good gamble. It is rare I am outright bullish on gold.
