Pick Six Lotto Contest Prize......
I have been consulting with the technical staff of the Pick Six Lotto contest. We have discussed various methods of rewarding the winner of the contest. I consider this therapy to keep my mind off the money I lost today in TGA.
So we were talking about what would be an appropriate prize for the winner of the FIRST INAUGURAL VMC Pick Six Lotto Contest! We talked about monetary prizes ( did I mention that I lost a ton of money today???) but felt that many here have lots of dough and certainly wouldn't appreciate a token prize.
So here is what we came up with. We have created a new board called the VMC PICKSIX LOTTO CONTEST CHAMPION. The winner of the contest will be identified in the iBox of the VMC board and the PickSix board. There will be a url link to the Champion board. During the 6 months following the contest the Champion will have free rein to communicate with his loyal subjects by explaining his investment strategies and tactics and of course his/her favorite stocks. I think many viewers would love to learn more about the background, investment experience and life experiences of our posters.
We talk all day about what stocks we like and why. I don't know about the rest of you but one of the biggest thrills of my humble little life is coming up with a unique stock to share that actually takes off on cue!!!! The Pick Six Champion will get to bask in the glory of winning the six month contest against some pretty good stock pickers. Some Value Microcappers have already demonstrated that they have the required EGO to be CHAMPION. Now we will find out if they have the stockpicking talent.
In order to get the maximum ego boost, we need maximum participation. When I win, I want to know that I beat EVERYBODY!!! So be sure to put your six picks in the hat by the Thursday close of the NYSE.
I also want to acknowledge the hard work by Lentinman and SSKILZ1. This is not a simple task and will certainly require a lot of extra effort by both. Please thank them at the appropriate times and appreciate their volunteer efforts to give us some extra entertainment! This will be a good showcase for our Value Microcap pickers as well as our favorite stocks.
I also want to express my appreciation for all the great posters that have chosen to share their picks here at VMC. This has worked out better than I ever expected and I think we have one of the best collections of stock pickers anywhere on the net. Thanks Bobwins
Please post stock symbols first in all your posts. If it's a foreign stock, please list the US pk equivalent symbol.
