Federal Government Agency Requested Today an Urgent Meeting With IBCI to

BioChemical Industries, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IBCL) announced that a Federal
Government Agency has requested today an urgent meeting with the firm to discuss
the BioShield line of products in the war on bioterrorism.

According to the government official who contacted IBCI, the request is being
made after a review by his agency of the technical data publicly available from
the EPA.

In addition the company also announced discovery of a new proprietary use for
the technology discovered during testing at a major University lab. The facility
was engaged by IBCI's distributor, Nova BioGenetics, Inc., in order to fulfill a
request by a pharmaceutical firm to run tests on the product for a specific
disease.
