Even though we should get a good run based on all this new knowledge it will become forgotton in the next week or so so I took the liberty of posting some of the more informative thoughts...

1.Neomedia is hiring a lot of people for growth
2.The company will grant options on or near market price going forward because they have to expense them and take a major loss if they grant them below market
3. Dilution from Cornell has been a paltry 3.16% this year and they have not used ant monies from their $100 million line of credit.
4. The SEC had to research the Mobot announcement to make sure Neomedia didn't vilolate quiet period rules concerning the Triton deal thus delaying the process. Catch 22...they wanted to make the deal with Mobot and not lose it but they also delayed the Triton deal at the same time. Both deals are suppose to close soon and Mobot represenitives were in attenedence at the SHM. Triton revenues are showing strong growth.
5.Expect to see an agressive marketing campaign by Neomedia after the deals close.
6. Adoption of Paperclick software will happen 4 ways...turned on by service providers, cell phone manufacturers, marketing firms and individual companies leading to Paperclick becoming the defacto standard (patents of course helping).
7. Company working to get listed on the AMEX....minimum requirement $3 share price and they are acing pretty confident
8. Now 13500 shareholders owning over 50% of the company meaning executives no longer have control.I will look for verification of this...
9.Emphasis on NeoMedia IP. Patents Rock Solid. Also, NeoMedia works daily on advancing not only the existing patents (including those acquired from LoyaltyPoint) but also new patents. I didn't write down the figure, JP will post, but something on the order of 30-40 more patents are in process, in addition to those already granted and pending. With the existing patents; NeoMedia is continuing to expand these current patents, and this will extend their "useful life" -not sure if that's the accurate terminology - for another 10-20 years (compliments of success/jp)
10. NEOM has the IP that covers the physical world to internet connection;
and there are search functions now in use by AOL, Yahoo, and Google that are "traversing" NeoMedia patents (infringing)
11. Also on patents: Location based buying, uses GPS/location IP, ie those acquired from LoyaltyPoint, also uses NEOM IP, whether it is "automatic" or not..ie whether or not you have to enter your zip code. see again Paperclick slide p. 6....IMO that is huge also (suuccess/jp)
12. NEOM has been working with the lens OEMs about the specs needed. However, in addition, NEOM has been reverse-engineering the Paperclick software to bypass the current lens limitations. The software has been/is almost completed modified to control the auto focus feature of the camera phone lens so that it is capable of reading 1D barcodes. (This is big IMO) Looks like this issue is nearly resolved.(success/JP)
13. Not worried about Scanbuy until they get some traction
14. Paperclick is free to the carriers; and can/will be private labeled - ie there's a powerpoint slide that has an example of Cingular GoWindow (success/jp)
15. Major service provider estimated in 2006
16. I thought it more than interesting that Microsoft was specifically mentioned in their slides while Google, Yahoo, AOL were considered infringing on patents and that they are talking to Microsoft
17.Number of patents are expected to grow signifiacantly next year
18. Pondering primate was at the shareholder meeting meaning he must be a shareholder hmmmm
19. Dupont executive runs the miracle paint repair business...deal with Dupont coming?
20. Martin Copus is a good as we thought he is...ex-Vice Chairman of Interpublic
21. NEOM thinks that a lot of the RFID usage by other companies today is crossing the NEOM bridge (Drmyke3)
22.NEOM got rid of SAIC because they were too slow and NEOM replaced them with SI. Jensenn regretted wasting time with SAIC (Drmyke3)
23. The potential market is HUGE due to the fact that there are billions of barcodes. One barcode could generate $1,000 in yearly revenue but a company wlike P & G would be getting discounts due to the number of their bar codes. Plus the number of images (i.e. MOBOT) is huge. Therefore our potential revenue is VERY GREAT (drmyke3)
24. Virgin payed $100,000 (via law suit) for PAST use of NEOM technology. No further revenue deals with Virgin for their stores OUTSIDE the U.S. which means there is potential for MUCH MORE REVENUE in new world wide Virgin entertainment deals.
I asked about Virgin. See my post. More worldwide income to come from Virgin and perhaps future co-operation. The main revenue mentiones was the $100,000 for PAST usage without the licence from NEOM
(Drmyke3)
25.Jensen made an interesting point during the meeting. He said the goal of the company at this point in time was not to make a profit but to increase cash flow and revenues. He said that it wasn't in the company's interest to be worried about meeting quarterly pressures to beat last quarter's profits.
Emphasis was made on Mobile becoming the 3rd screen (after TV and computers), and therfore the huge potential.
It is difficult to get paperclick up and running because so many oieces have to be put into place.
An interesting ad point was mentioned and that is the demographics of the phone clicker are known and therefore a male clicking on a coke barcode could be sent to a different website than when a female clicks on the same barcode.
The point was made that many providers will wanto tmarket paperclick under their own name and market it to their subscribers under their own name, which is fine with NEOM just to collect the revenue.
Point was made that the potential market for name and word sales is huge.
Paint business, (although not respected by some here) has big cash flow implications for NEOM. The ex-Dupont emloyee gave an excellent presentation explaining the superiority of NEOM paint/car repair business over others in the field.Dmyke3
26.One interesting tidbit dealt with paperclick itself. When you download it to your phone you fill out a little registration form. Each company can tailor this form to their business and industry. You the user can also choose how you want to interact with the software, ie, do you want your profile to be linked to your paperclick request. The good thing is that the advertiser can get to know you preferences and thus market to you what you normally want. The bad thing is the advertiser can keep you eating those fattening candy bars that you like by sending you electronic coupons.
So two people can get different results from the same click. If you are male you may get one response and a different one if you a female.
Other aspects could be age, location if you turn on gps feature, type of phone you are using, voice recognition, lots of things. Basically since paperclick is a platform built on software it can be customized. To me that's cool (hangdog)

More to the list we added...still say Microsoft is the big word here
