Why would Intel still be screwing around with their 130nm process? What does that say about their 90nm process?

Keith,

INTEL to add 2 metal layers to 130nm process

INTEL goes from 6 to 8 for Xeon with 1 and 2 MB cache, and for Extreme Edition chips. Starting in April.

But this sounds even worse. It looks like Intel thinks they will need 130nm for a while...
