Here’s the problem… most Iraqis still like to deal in cash. With the 25K note ($21.25) being the biggest, it makes it tough to buy big ticket items. That’s a lot of bills to carry around to purchase something that cost $1000. So the people want a bigger bill. The CBI wants to lop now, they are just waiting on Parliament to approve it. I think the CBI floated this 100K note rumor out there to light a fire under Parliaments’ arse. Saying either hurry up and approve the lop or we’re gonna put out a 100K note.
When the lop happens and they issue a new currency, they will probably have a 100 dinar note.

{Disclaimer} First I want to say there are no guarantees. I want to try to tie together all the research I have been doing for the last few months. I want to explain why I believe Iraq’s currency will revalue, and what is really at stake here. The more I dug the more I found. I used Google Bing and yahoo search engines. I also used Google and Bing translators. Anyone can find out what I discovered. I am no guru. I don’t know what the rate will be. I don’t know when this will happen (although I believe it will be soon) I don’t have any people on the inside, or boots on the ground. I don’t sell dinar or represent those who do. The first thing we need to know about the revalue is simple. We need an understanding of how a central bank works. What is a central bank? The US had 3 central banks. Each central bank was privately owned and operated. Each one had the power to print the government’s money, and charge the government interest for using that money.

Our current central bank is the Federal Reserve. It has the power to create money, adjust interest rates, and it has the power to control a lot of the American economy. Yet the Federal Reserve is not part of the Federal Government, and it is an independently owned and operated. It is a private organization.

We also need to understand that the Iraqi central bank is also a privately owned bank. It operates and works the same way the Federal Reserve operates and works. It was the Rothschilds that owned and operated the first two central banks of the United States. They also own the Central Bank of Iraq. (CBI) They played a major role and even have part ownership in the Federal Reserve.

In recent years The US stock market has gone through some major adjustments. J.P. Morgan bought Bear Stearns and Bank of America bought Merrill Lynch. Both these companies had a major supply of Iraqi dinar and Iraqi bonds. Both J.P. Morgan and Bank of America already had a significant amount of Iraqi dinars and bonds before the purchase of these companies were made. Now they have greatly increased the supply of these assets.
Companies like Lehman Brothers were allowed to go bankrupt because they had few if any Iraqi assets in their portfolio. It was J.P. Morgan himself that also assisted in the effort to establish the Federal Reserve. Goldman Sachs is another Rothschild/US company. It is flush with Iraqi bonds, and it is in the process of becoming a bank. This bank supposedly has 1.1 trillion in assets.
The Oil Connection
It has been stated in many threads over the forums that Iraq would not simply give it’s oil reserves away for a revalued currency. I have added to the confusion by stating that The Iraqi dinar is backed by oil. This was really a poor choice of words on my part. The Iraqi dinar is not a coupon that countries will use to get their oil. What I am trying to imply is this. The value of Iraq’s resources such as oil, Natural Gas, sulfur crops ect, will play a role in the value of the Iraqi dinar itself. The dinar itself is not backed by oil the same way the USD was once backed by gold. However oil will play a role in the revalue of Iraq’s currency.
When you appraise the value of a home you don’t only look at the square footage alone to figure out the value. You take everything into account. Is their any finished carpentry work? Does it have a sprinkler system? Does it have Granit counter tops or Formica? How big is the garage? Is it one car, two cars, or three cars? How many finishing details does it have? Is the house in good shape or does it need repairs?
That is kind of like the same role the resources play on the value of the dinar. This is because these resources will contribute to Iraq’s GDP. This is why oil will always play a part in the value of Iraq’s currency and their economy.

Making the numbers fit
People here have been struggling with large numbers and many are trying to come to any logical conclusion as to how this currency will gain value. It seems all the zeros don’t add up. Don’t worry congress gets just as confused when it sees lots of zeros too. It just boggles the mind.
It has been said through numerous articles that Iraq has 25 trillion dinar in circulation. Some say even 27 trillion. This number is then compared to the world GDP and to the US money supply. It has been said that the US money supply is only 1.7 trillion some say 8.5 trillion. So it would be impossible to revalue a currency when that much dinar is in circulation. I would agree with this assumption if those numbers were correct. But these numbers are not correct. As we will see

The US has 1.7 trillion dollars in printed currency this is called the M1 money supply. The US also has digital currency. The digital currency and the physical currency added together is called the M2 money supply. The M2 money supply is 8.5 trillion. The money supply is greatly expanded by the use of something called Fractional Reserve Banking. This is outlined in a book produced by the Federal Reserve called Modern Money Mechanics. Now you know exactly how the money supply is expanded through the fractional reserve banking system. So take the base money supply and times it by 10 (the reserve limit) now you have 85 trillion as an expansion possibility. However the reserve requirement has been removed.

So ask yourself, If the federal reserve and the bankers can expand the money supply this much, How come the reserve requirements were removed? The money supply has been expanded even further through Quantitative Easing 1 and 2. The total US money supply is M3. Good luck finding an accurate number.

Maybe we can kind of guess what the real M3 money supply is from calculating all this debt.
Iraq is a world currency. It is spread throughout the world. So to determine if there is enough currency to revalue you need to look at the global picture, not just the United States currency. Keep in mind that there are about 150 central banks and don’t forget to take into account Fractional Reserve Banking for each bank!
What about Redenomination?
In the last redenomination article I read two things stood out. First the new government would need to approve the dinar. Second they will conduct a study to see if this is a good option. So if this is correct no decision has been made at this point. They would also need to determine the cost and build it into the budget. There has been an on again off again approach when discussing this topic. There are many articles that say they will not redenominate. I am going to quote from the Wikipedia link provided earlier.
“According to a Reuters report on 11 Feb 2010, Iraq expects to redenominate its dinar currency by knocking three zeros off the nominal value of bank notes to facilitate currency transactions.”
The Rothschild family owns Reuters. This is the same Rothschild family that owns the CBI. History is about to repeat itself once again. Remember earlier that the Rothschild’s ancestors purchased all the colonial currency they could find and at the same time they had their network of people declaring how worthless the currency was. Soon afterwards Alexander Hamilton restored value to the Colonial currency.
The same thing is happening today. The Rothschilds are setting up their network of agents and friends with as much Iraqi dinar and bonds as possible via the stock market and acquisitions, and at the same time they say the currency will redenominate and is worthless through their media complex. Places like Reuters and AP provide the Rothschilds with their own personal forums. Then when the time is right Shabibi will revalue the dinar.

When we consider an Iraqi dinar RV we need to look at the really big picture. You are correct. The money supply numbers have continued to skyrocket. They now have 27 Trillion in circulation and a M2 number of 55 Trillion. Both require Iraq to lop their currency. Anyone holding dinar will soon lose a large % of their money.

Trade Bank of Iraq Plans to Expand Abroad

The Bank plans which has 15 branches in Iraq is the opening of eight or nine other local branches in the next year and the opening of three branches in Beirut, London and Istanbul to satisfy the appetite of investors who are looking to Iraq.

Iraq has signed a series of agreements with international oil companies in the past year to enhance the production capacity of crude to the power level of Saudi Arabia, which is 12 million barrels per day from about 2.5 million barrels per day at the moment.

The country plans, which lacks electricity also increase power generation capacity to build new plants and add new engines to the existing stations.

Iraq has big plans to set up infrastructure to export oil to keep pace with the expected increase in crude production but it is lack of funding after years of war, sanctions and poor conditions that devastated its economy.

Azri said that the Trade Bank of Iraq will help the government to finance some projects of infrastructure in the oil and electricity sectors.

He said the bank within the pavilion which is surrounded by wings of other companies such as Schlumberger and Weatherford and TPAO of Turkey and Malaysia's Petronas, which won contracts in Iraq's oil sector, "as we see in novels on the short, the security situation did not deter investors from coming here."

He added that the oil companies began to march and service companies come in now, which will attract hotels, restaurants, residential and office complexes.

Azri said that the bank expected a rise in net profit to about 25 percent in 2010 thanks to the banking activities of companies and private banking.

The net profit $ 305 million last year.

Azri said that the bank was targeting a 20 percent increase in net profit in 2010, but he believes that the increase will exceed this and reach to about 25 percent which is good.

He added that the bank started its investment banking and corporate activities in the current year and that he expected revenue growth.

Azri said that the bank plans to increase its capital to one billion dollars from 427 million dollars

I am supposed to be working right now, but I feel like I need to get his post off of my mind and potentially help some people make some decisions. This is a long topic applying to a specific group. So if you have not heard of the following trust, you may not want to waste your time. Also, I am not taking time to edit or proof read this.

I was recently asked to give an opinion on an IRREVOCABLE, NON-GRANTOR, COMPLEX, DISCRETIONARY, SPENDTHRIFT TRUST and told about a guy who is selling these trust which are supposed to allow you to defer income forever and have bullet proof asset protection. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to complete the investigation without actually being hired to do it. However I felt compelled to address some comments to the issue. The short comment is to stay away. The long set of comments follows:

•Totally eliminates exposure to PERSONAL LIABILITY.
•Eliminates PROBATE and all associated expenses.
•Eliminates all INHERITANCE TAXES when properly constructed.
•When properly constructed the trust is MEDICARE/MEDICAID COMPLIANT.
•Eliminates all concerns about INCAPACITY AND GUARDIANSHIP.
•Protects land holdings from loss due to URBANIZATION.
•Eliminates CAPITAL GAINS TAX.
Through discretionary terms and conditions by the correct use of the law and the Internal Revenue Code, the trust can make available EXTRAORDINARY DIVIDENDS and Taxable STOCK DIVIDENDS without taxation.

I would LOVE to have reviewed one of his trusts, but the only way to see one is to buy it. (I understand they are 5 or 6 thousand dollars.) So, I read what his “Think Tank” website had to say and listened to a recorded conference call and a live conference call with this gentleman, “Jim” who did not give his last name, would not give the name of his company, his phone number, or his address. He claimed he didn’t want to be overwhelmed with contacts. However, he was willing to give a non-company email address: hayseedpassion@gmail.com.
That was enough to turn on red flag alerts for me. The rest of my issues/concerns follow:

1) Big Sounding Name - The name of the trust has NOTHING to do with whether it is legal or whether it will work. You could take a standard revocable trust and call it the BULLETPROOF FOREIGN ASSET PROTECTION TRUST, but that would not change the fact that the language of the instrument was a basic, run of the mill, domestic, revocable living trust with no asset protection. What matters is the language of the trust which I have not seen.

2) His claims that the trust is “Legal” - Whether the trust is Legal has NOTHING to do with whether or not it will do what you say it will do. What matters is the language of the trust which I have not seen.

3) Opinion Letters – He claims to have opinion letters from an attorney and a CPA who used to work for the IRS. However, you don’t get to see them unless you have already paid. Seriously? Then what is the point of even having one. If you trust and stand behind your product and the opinion letter upholds what you profess, wouldn’t you WANT to show it to us to convince us to buy? I am left wondering if the opinion letters are worth the paper they are written on. They may just say "This trust is legal" or something else just as innocuous. That says nothing about whether the trust will do what it claims within the limits of the laws and regulations.

4) Copyright – He claims the trust is under copyright (or actually implies that). What is under copyright is the book he placed the trust in. It is his “expression” of the legal ideas of the trust. What he sells are completed trusts. Therefore, he is either committing the Unlicensed Practice of Law (UPL) by drafting trusts (which can be copyrighted) or his is simply selling a form to you that he fills in with information that you provide. Forms cannot be copyrighted.

5) Current - He says that his trust was drafted in 1999 and updated in 2002. That means it is not up to date with the current changes in the Uniform Trust Code. Changes in the UTC (which most states have adopted to some extent threaten the asset protections of domestic irrevocable trusts. There are some things which are done to limit the damage, but there is no way of knowing if the attorney that drafted this trust he will sell to you had the foresight to put those provisions in.

6) Will work in all 50 states – Well of course it will. However, it relies on IRC 643(a)(3) for its “deferment” of gains. (Fiduciary accounting calls it “accumulation” of gains which may have negative tax consequences in the future.) I’m not a CPA and I’d need to do more research to be sure, but I don’t have the time. Anyway, I have seen indications that local law affects how 643 is applied to trust income. Further, different states laws will work differently with the updates in the Uniform Trust Code. The trust may work differently in different states (depending on how it is set up).

7) In the Land of the Blind – There is a saying that in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. Thinking about what I have read and heard, I am reminded of that saying. In the Q&A part of his call, I heard people thanking Jim for the information had given them. I thought, “What are you talking about? All the guy has done is make a bunch of unsubstantiated claims and tell us about how his trust is supposed to work without being willing to show us ANYTHING to support his statements. They guy sounds like a “snake oil salesman.” (Sorry if that is harsh, but it really is what I thought.) The problem is that “Jim” actually does have some things right and is a pretty bright guy which makes him believable. The problem there is that you believe him when he is wrong too. He gets things wrong on several occasions and misleads people unintentionally. His call was the land of the blind. How are they to know?

8) Capitalizing your trust – Over and over again, “Jim” refers to capitalizing your trust and refers to it as a nontaxable event. However, absent being shown something in his trust or the IRC contrary to this (which he is unwilling to do), I have to disagree with him. When you place assets into a trust (he calls it capitalizing - the estate planning world calls it gifting), it is considered a gift to any beneficiaries of the trust and all of the gifting laws apply. Any gifts of Dinar post-RV could be enormous and would cause large gift tax consequences to the person making the gift. I see no way that this trust could get around that (regardless of what he claims). He tries to use the analogy of contributing capital to a business to prove his point. The difference is that whatever contribution you make to the business increases your own capital account in the business. The gifts to trust are for beneficiaries other than yourself. It is a gift. To believe otherwise, I'd need to see the language.

9) Using a separate “Settlor” – When the Tax Court reviews a case, they are looking at substance over form. “Jim’s” scheme uses someone else to be the Grantor of the trust and create it for your beneficiaries. However, they only fund it with $10 and hand it over. He calls this person the “Settlor.” When you gift assets to the trust, you become a Grantor of the trust (just like the Settlor). The trust will remain a non-grantor trust (which simply means it is not taxed back to the grantor), but depending on the powers that you as Trustee hold, being both grantor and Trustee could bring the trust assets into your estate for estate tax purposes and destroy one of the primary purposes of the trust. It could also threaten the asset protection of the trust.

10) His trust is special – He tells a story and implies that irrevocable trusts are not liked by attorneys or commonly seen by the IRS, I would have to disagree with him there. Irrevocable trusts are a common planning instrument that estate planning attorneys, tax attorneys, investment advisers, and the IRS are all very familiar with.

11) Scott on Trusts – One of his claims is that the trust is in compliance with Scott. He then makes the claim that Scott is the authority on trusts in our country. Well, he may have been an authority at one time, but the Courts don’t care. The written authority now is a combined work of attorneys around the nation called the “Restatement of Trusts.” Not too long ago, the Restatement of Trusts III came out. This is what prompted the changes in the Uniform Trust Code (UTC) that threatens asset protections of irrevocable trusts. No one cares that it is conformance with Scott on Trusts.

12) You could do better for the price – I have been told that he is charging $5,000 to $6,000 for these trusts. I believe that people in most areas of the country could go to a good estate planning attorney who would custom draft a trust to meet their needs. Also, If you see an attorney who drafts a trust for you for a particular purpose, you can also sue them if it fails to meet that purpose. “Jim” disclaims all liability and gives no guarantees. If your trust doesn't work you are still out the money.

13) Self Dealing – One of the big selling points of his trust is that as Trustee, you can buy a car or house and own it inside the trust and have the use of it while you are “managing it for the beneficiaries.” Using the trust so much for the advantage of the Trustee is self-dealing. (It is substance over form.) I'm not sure that whatever discretionary language you have in the trust will be enough to overcome the self-dealing problem. Perhaps the trust allows self-dealing (I’ve drafted some that do), however, we can’t know without seeing the language of the trust.

14) Passing assets on tax free – Of all the issues listed above, I can think of ways they just might be able to work out. However, this is one issue I can think of NO WAY around. He claims that once you are done “managing” the trust assets for the beneficiaries (which really means using them for yourself), that you can pass them on to new trusts owned by your beneficiaries without any tax consequence and avoid all of the deferred (accumulated) capital gains income being taxed on the transfer. I’d love to see some IRC section that allows this. I don’t know of one. I sent an email to a CPA this morning to see if he knows of any way to do it. I don’t.

Okay – I’ve spent WAY too much time on this already so I'll make my final comments. This trust may work just as you “Jim” says it does. In fact the structure is intriguing. Still, I can't feel comfortable without either seeing the trust itself or a detailed opinion letter from an attorney qualified to draft such an opinion (and I may need an opinion from a CPA who understands fiduciary accounting principles). I would also need to see that the trust was updated to deal with the new problems presented by the Uniform Trust Code.

Reviewing this trust reminds me of reading arguments of tax protesters. (I even wrote a paper on why the current income tax structure was unconstitutional.) There are some people out there who are claiming victory over the IRS using what they have been taught. However, we still see people going to jail. There may be people using this trust successfully, but it feels like a tax protester situation. Unless I see this thing properly vetted, I’d tell anyone who asks me to stay away from it. $5,000 or $6,000 is too much to throw away.

I have now spent over 6 hours on this thing (including typing it up) that I should have used to try to make some money for my family. (Still really struggling to get my practice started again now that wife is doing better. Have even gotten help from my church for bills.) I feel guilty for spending so much time on it and hope that it is helpful. However, PLEASE don’t expect me to do any more on this topic. I just can’t afford the time.

Having said that, I am a sucker for learning something new, so if you have an answer that is supported by law (not just what someone said), I’d LOVE you to post it here.

Section 4 of the 25th Amendment likely to be invoked; Obama being shipped out!

Washington has not witnessed so much top level White House intrigue since October 20, 1973, when a Saturday night saw President Nixon fire the Watergate independent counsel, the U.S. attorney general, and the deputy attorney general in the “Saturday Night Massacre.” Just ten days earlier, Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned after being charged with accepting bribes while governor of Maryland.

In the case of President Obama, the senior firings are not happening during a single nght but the recent involuntary sudden departures of the White House chief of staff and national security adviser, along with what WMR can confirm from multiple sources is a president who is suffering from Nixonian levels of paranoia, depression, and schizophrenia, has some top-level administration officials considering the first-ever invocation of Section 4 of the 25th Amendment — the involuntary removal of the president from office. The White House meltdown has the Washington political circuit buzzing under the surface.

Unlike Watergate and the Iran-contra scandal, however, the corporate media is refusing to report on the breakdown of the Obama administration and the internecine political warfare within the Executive Office of the President.

The “Ulsterman” Diary

Like Watergate, the rumors about Obama’s mental health, his lack of interest in the routine tasks of the presidency, and his mistaken belief that the crowds who see him on the campaign trail automatically adore him, are emanating from a “Deep Throat,” a former White House staffer who is providing detailed information on the chaos and in-fighting in the White House to a blogger who goes by the name of “Ulsterman.” Ulsterman has conducted a number of background interviews with the former Obama staffer over the past few weeks, publishing them in a series. WMR has independently confirmed with Washington insiders, some with high-level contacts in the White House, that most of the information in the interviews is correct.

The latest leak from the former White House official has Obama offering Secretary of State Hillary Clinton the vice presidential position in 2012. However, Clinton has no intention of taking the job and may well quit as Secretary of State after the mid-term election, especially if Secretary of Defense Robert Gates leaves earlier than his announced departure of next year and the Democrats suffer a big defeat at the polls on Nov. 2. It is known that Gates does not like the new National Security Adviser Tom Donilon and was not happy that National Security Adviser James Jones was fired earlier than his own planned departure date.

Another similarity to the Watergate crisis is the usual “pre-crisis presence” of Washington Post influence peddler and original “Deep Throat” conjurer Bob Woodward. Woodward’s new book, Obama’s Wars, quoted Jones as calling Obama’s advisers “water bugs,” an utterance that resulted in Jones’s early firing by Obama.

Rahm Emanuel’s firing came after he and Mrs. Obama had a major argument, and the First Lady told Emanuel he had to go “for a reason.” Mrs. Obama reportedly flatly told Emanuel he was “no longer welcome at the White House.” The “Emanuel-running-for-Chicago-mayor” story was mere window dressing to cover up the meltdown in the White House leadership. The top-level White House resignations, just before a critical mid-term election, are unprecedented even by Watergate standards. The October 1973 White House instability was one year before the 1974 mid-terms, an election that still saw the Republicans suffer tremendous losses in the Congress.

As with “Deep Throat” and other past White House leakers, there is as much speculation on who has been speaking to Ulsterman as there is on the earth-shattering revelations coming out of his or her interviews. The leaker’s information indicates that he or she was relatively high-ranking with access to the inner workings of the Oval Office. The following have all left the White House, some abruptly:

Rahm Emanuel, chief of staff. Resigned effective October 1, 2010.
Retired General James Jones, National Security Adviser. Resignation announced on October 8, 2010.
Ellen Moran, Communications Director, left in April 2009, however, the leaks indicate the Obama “Deep Throat” had more recent access to the Oval Office. Moran is now chief of Staff to Commerce Secretary Gary Locke.
Van Jones, special adviser for “Green Jobs.” Left in September 2009, again, too early to have been privy to later inside information.
Mark Lippert, deputy national security adviser. Left in October 2009 and went from reserve to active status in the US Navy. Lippert was a “pick-up basketball” partner of Obama during the campaign.
David Ogden, Deputy Attorney General. Resigned in February 2010.
Greg Craig, White House Counsel. Craig was forced to announce his resignation in November 2009. Although November 2009 was also possibly too early for Craig to be the source, he is a consummate Washington insider who may continue to be privy to information from within the Oval Office and West Wing.
Peter Orszag, Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Resigned in June 2010. Like Craig, a strong possibility.
Retired Admiral Dennis Blair, Director of National Intelligence. Resigned in May 2010. Would have had classified access to White House operations although he did not work in the White House.
Christina Romer, chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers. Resigned in September 2010.
Larry Summers, Director of National Economic Council. Resignation not to take effect until after November 2 election.
There are also reports that White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs has been told to look for another job. Defense Secretary Robert Gates has announced his decision to leave but with James Jones’s early dismissal, Gates may move up his departure from the Pentagon. David Axelrod plans to leave as early as March 2011 to work, as he has stated, on Obama’s re-election campaign from Chicago.

Obama’s depression and paranoia and Hillary’s intentions

WMR has learned that Obama’s paranoia and severe depression over his correct belief that certain interests are out to get him have been mitigated by First Lady Michelle Obama and domestic policy adviser Valerie Jarrett. Mrs. Obama has been telling Obama that he should forgo a second term because he is “too good for the American people” and he has a future role on a “bigger world stage.”

It is also being reported from White House sources that Hillary Clinton plans to run against Obama in 2012, something WMR previously reported. The reports that Obama has offered Mrs. Clinton the vice presidential position in 2012 is both an attempt at defusing the reports that Clinton, backed by her husband Bill Clinton, are planning a primary challenge to Obama and an attempt to send a message to Biden, who is considered by Obama to be working with the forces arrayed against him.

On August 27, 2010, WMR reported on the Obama-Clinton intrigue:

“Informed sources in Washington, DC have told WMR that President Obama has been personally told by a delegation of top Democratic Party financiers that unless he radically changes his economic policies they will bolt from him for another Democratic candidate in 2012. The Democratic money moguls conveyed the warning to Obama in Martha’s Vineyard, where the president and his family are spending their vacation. There are various factions within the Democratic Party that see different scenarios to bail out what many Democrats see as an administration in deep trouble with the electorate. One would have Secretary of State Hillary Clinton move up to replace Vice President Joe Biden on the 2012 ticket with Senator John Kerry becoming Secretary of State. However, WMR has been told that Clinton personally loathes Obama and his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel and may not want to be part of the 2012 president ticket playing second fiddle to Obama. WMR has also learned that Obama’s reported ‘severe narcissism’ has a number of his cabinet officials and top Democratic fundraisers perplexed. Obama’s refusal to change course because of his ego was discussed at the recent annual Bohemian Grove conclave in northern California, which brings together influential businessmen and politicians from both parties. Top U.S. business leaders openly complained about Obama’s economic policies, with some stating that Obama is, for the business community, the worst president in anyone’s lifetime. They also complained about White House gatekeepers like Emanuel and policy advisers Valerie Jarrett and David Axelrod who are preventing access to the Oval Office.

Although such complaints could be expected from Republican businessmen, we have learned that top Democratic businessmen at the Bohemian Grove have told Jarrett, Obama’s chief liaison to them, that all she does is shake them down” for campaign contributions and that the uncertainty on the costs for Obama programs on health care and taxes has prevented the hiring of workers.

WMR has also learned that rather than change course, the White House staff, who are keenly reading anything that is critical of the president, are more interested in exacting revenge for criticism than in changing course. ‘The White House staff are voracious readers who are obsessed with favorable coverage,’ one source said.

The Obama administration’s interest in a favorable public image over all other interests has a number of Democrats running for re-election privately miffed. One change many Democratic politicians and fundraisers would like to see is the replacement of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner with someone with more gravitas and a better handle on fixes for the plummeting economy.”

On January 7, 2010, WMR reported: “WMR has also learned of a schism that has opened up between Obama’s political team of Emanuel, Jarrett, David Axelrod, and White House pollsters and focus group specialists who meet at the White House every Wednesday and the national security team of National Security Adviser Jim Jones, Defense Secretary Robert Gates, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The national security team is convinced that the political team is only focused on the 2012 re-election campaign and not on pressing national security issues. Brawls have reportedly broken out between the two groups with Emanuel looking for ways to threaten Jones, Gates, and Clinton with retaliation if their criticisms of the political team continues.”

Now that Jones is out, Gates is going — maybe sooner than reported — and Clinton is contemplating leaving and challenging Obama in 2012, the national security team under Biden’s close friend Donilon is now in the hands of a veteran Democratic political team. But the political team has also taken major hits, with Emanuel gone, Axelrod leaving next year, and White House General Counsel Greg Craig having left last January. New Chief of Staff Rouse is a protege of former Senator Tom Daschle and is considered close to Biden’s circle.

Donilon’s wife, Cathy Russell, is Biden’s chief of staff and his brother, Mike Donilon, a long-time Democratic campaign consultant who advised Bill Clinton in his 1992 presidential campaign, is counselor to the vice president.

John O. Brennan, Obama’s deputy national security adviser for Homeland Security and Counter-terrorism, is also under pressure to resign. Brennan, after retiring as interim chief of the National Counter-terrorism Center at the CIA in 2005, became CEO of The Analysis Corporation. Brennan’s firm’s employees were among those cited in rifling through Obama’s State Department passport files in January 2008. It was never ascertained what information was gleaned from Obama’s files and possibly those of his mother, grandfather, and grandmother. However, WMR has learned that Obama’s past is curently of interest to individuals linked closely to the CIA.

Crisis management in the White House

The White House team now consists of Biden’s circle of Donilon and Rouse, the Obama circle of Michelle Obama, Jarrett, and an increasingly weakened Axelrod, and those in the middle who are not sure about the future of the administration.

Mrs. Obama and, to a lesser extent, Jarrett, have tried to smooth things over between people like Vice President Biden and chief of staff Pete Rouse on one hand and President Obama, who is detached from his duties, and, according to the former White House staffer who is talking to Ulsterman, extremely lazy, only interested in watching ESPN and discussing sports, and playing golf, and doing what he is most comfortable at: campaigning. Obama clearly wants to run again for president, citing the “adoring crowds” who greet him on the political stump. Mrs. Obama has reportedly told the president that “there are no more adoring crowds.”

Last March, the annual report on the president’s health contaned a reference to drinking. Obama’s doctor urged him to ”Continue smoking cessation efforts, a daily exercise program, healthy diet, moderation in alcohol intake. . .” WMR has been told by informed sources that Obama’s drinking has, on occasion, been more than moderate.

Previously, WMR reported that Michelle has told the president that he can make more money after one term as president than Bill Clinton has made after two terms. Privately, the First Lady has made no secret of her dislike of her role as First Lady and the constraints it has put on her own ability to make money. In a book about French First Lady Carla Bruni, “Carla and the Ambitious,” Mrs. Bruni-Sarkozy reportedly said that Mrs. Obama told her that life in the White House is “hell.” The White House staffer told “Ulsterman” that he was uncomfortable talking about the marital situation between the president and the First Lady, but WMR has previously reported on Obama’s bi-sexuality, his activities with gay members of Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ and an uptown Chicago bath house, in addition to his current controversial relationship with his personal trainer, Reggie Love, and a past short relationship with Larry Sinclair.

Obama’s depression and lack of interest in his duties have senior administration officials and some Cabinet secretaries considering the invocation of Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, which deals with the involuntary removal of the president for physical or mental incapacity.

The first invocation of the Section 4 of the 25th Amendment is on the table

Section 4 has never been invoked. However, on two occasions it was almost invoked on President Reagan, after the March 30, 1981, assassination attempt against Reagan and in 1987 when Howard Baker took over as White House chief of staff from the fired Donald Regan. PBS reported that Baker’s team was shocked over what they heard from Regan’s staff: that “Reagan was ‘inattentive, inept,’ and ‘lazy,’ and Baker should be prepared to invoke the 25th Amendment to relieve him of his duties.”

When asked by the Associated Press in March 1983 about White House plans to invoke Section 4 after his shooting in March 1981, President Reagan responded, “No one has ever mentioned such a thing to me.” White House Chief of Staff James Baker III countered Reagan’s statement by contending that Reagan must have forgot.

During the Bill Clinton impeachment episode, there was talk in the White House of creating the position of a White House psychiatrist who would be empowered to ascertain the mental fitness of the president to serve. Clinton’s self-destructive sexual activities were cited as one reason for such a position. Lyndon Johnson’s war-time depression and Richard Nixon’s paranoia were also given as reasons for an “independent psychiatrist” on the White House staff. The issue returned during President George W. Bush’s term of office with reports of alcoholism and depression.

1972 Democratic vice presidential candidate Senator Thomas Eagleton (D-MO) was stepped down from the ticket after revelations that he had been treated for mental depression. Presidential candidate George McGovern was forced to replace Eagleton with Sargent Shriver.

A March 14, 1999, New York Times report addressed the issue of presidential psychological problems and quoted former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford as being against the idea of a White House shrink. Carter was opposed to a mandatory annual psychiatric evaluation as part of the annual physical examination of the president. He told the Times, “No — You don’t have a mandatory requirement in the law to check a President for athlete’s foot,” but he added, “I believe that mental illness should be considered with the same import as physical illness.” Ford also opposed the idea of a presidential psychiatrist, saying, “I don’t see the need for someone in that discipline being assigned specifically to the White House medical office . . . I think I was normal. I think I am still normal. If I had any problem along that line develop, the White House can acquire the best almost instantaneously.” Senator Ted Stevens (R-AK) also voiced opposition, saying, “The signal to the world that the American President, the leader of the free world, is having to get advice as to his mental condition might destabilize a lot of things, including stock markets and negotiations.”

Zbigniew Brzezinski, former Carter national security adviser, not rejecting outright the idea of a presidential psychiatrist, said, “The psychiatrist would also probably have to sign a document obligating him to raise an alarm if he detected serious problems that could affect the President’s ability to govern.”

The present talk about invoking Section 4 has made Obama even more paranoid about his enemies, who he feels range from Biden and the Clintons to the banks and Wall Street.

Section 4 would allow Vice President Biden, along with a majority of either ‘the principal officers of the executive departments,” the Cabinet or “such other body as Congress may by law provide,” to declare the President disabled by submitting a written declaration to the president of the Senate pro tem Senator Daniel Inouye (D-HI), and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Under Section 3 of the 25th Amendment, Vice President Biden would become Acting President.

Section 4 is designed to be invoked if the president’s incapacitation prevents him from discharging the duties of his office. A written declaration to that effect must be presented to Congress. The president may resume exercising the Presidential duties by sending a written declaration to the president of the Senate pro tem and the speaker of the House.

However, should the Vice president and Cabinet remain unsatisfied with the president’s condition, within four days of the president’s declaration that he is fit, may submit another declaration that the president is incapacitated. The Congress must then assemble within 48 hours, if not already in session. Within 21 days of assembling or of receiving the second declaration by the Vice President and the Cabinet, a two-thirds vote of each house of Congress is required to affirm the President as unfit. Upon this finding by the Congress, Section 4 states that the vice president would continue to function as the “Acting President.” If the Republicans win one or both houses of Congress on November 2, a lame duck Democratic-led Senate and House might have to deal with the invocation of Section 3, something that could plunge the country into a constitutional crisis.

If Biden were to become president, he would have to nominate a vice president subject to a majority approval of the Senate and House of Representatives. Again, a lame duck Congress may find itself thrust into approving a vice presidential successor and Biden would likely want such a decision to fall to Democratic-led chambers rather than one or both being controlled by the Republicans. In such an event, Secretary of State Clinton, the senior Cabinet member, may find herself as the favorite. Current talk in the corporate media about Clinton being offered the vice presidential slot by Obama in 2012, and her rejection of such a scenario, may be part of a campaign to prepare the American people for a vice presidency, not under Obama, but under Biden.

Enter the CIA

In another eerie replay of the Watergate crisis, WMR has learned that the CIA has not sat by idly as the Obama White House has unraveled. WMR has previously reported on Obama’s and his family’s past links to the CIA. However, Langley appears ready to take advantage of the weakening position of Obama to bring about added uncertainty.

WMR has learned from a reliable intelligence source that the CIA has secretly contracted with a retired top CIA official who was a principal actor in the Iran-contra scandal, to uncover any information that could be damaging to Obama from his past. On the table are any documents and information on Obama’s place of birth, his paternal parentage, and his past employment activities. By contracting outside the CIA’s normal channels, the agency is seeking ”plausible deniability” should documents or information damaging to Obama be uncovered and subsequently leaked to the media.

The retired CIA official has recently been active with a carve-out special Pentagon intelligence-gathering contract approved by his one-time boss at the CIA, then-CIA deputy director Robert Gates, now the defense secretary, and CIA Director Leon Panetta, President Clinton’s White House chief of staff. There is at least $15 million of Pentagon funds unaccounted for in the CIA’s off-the-books intelligence-gathering operation, reported to have officially been for counter-terrorism operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The contractor firm has been involved in domestic and foreign intelligence operations for the CIA and FBI for at least 20 years, including monitoring labor strikes, investigating at least one U.S. Supreme Court nominee, and its linkage to the FBI corruption case involving Boston criminal syndicate boss James “‘Whitey” Bulger.

The scenario of invoking Section 4 of the 25th Amendment is a worst-case scenario but the mere fact that it is “on the table” provides an indication of the current dysfunctional situation in the White House. Democratic Party leaders are scrambling in anticipation of major losses on Nov. 2 in the Congress and state houses. President Obama may soon find himself at the receiving end of senior Democratic Party elders who will bear a “shock therapy” message: “shape up or ship out.”

Actually, that's the way people like YOU think. The rest of us think - As long as he can do the job representing my view point, it doesn't matter what colour he is.

I suspect a large percentage of the voters who elected this president did so because he IS black. (He certainly wasn't elected for his experience.) Now THAT is racist!

I find it curious how if one doesn't agree with this president or the way he is running the country people who DO agree with him and his policies automatically scream 'racist'!

I find it interesting that people even consider Obama a "black" man. He has a white mother and a black father right? Doesn't that make him just as much white as black? Pick a color for convenience, like Halle Berry.

It's easy to use the word "racist" when you are lazy and don't want to confront real issues. It doesn't play anymore. Find another argument that has validity with the real issues we face.

Don't kid yourself into thinking that the worst of the financial crisis has passed. For some banks, it's just beginning. Eating all those bad loans is hurting all banks, and many more are going to fail.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) says 80% of banks are profitable. But that leaves 20% that are bleeding cash.


There are 7,830 banks in the U.S. -- and 437 of them are in immediate danger of failing. Make sure your bank isn't on this list. Details below.
The FDIC currently has 829 banks on its "Problem Bank" list. So far this year, 129 banks have failed, about one-third of which did so in the third quarter.

That's a truly frightening number by historical standards: About 40% of the banks that have failed since 2000 did so in the first nine months of 2010.

Trouble is, the FDIC doesn't release its problem loans list -- it only says how many banks are on it.

But by using a special ratio that measures a bank's problem loans (the precursor to the loans that are eventually charged off), investors can determine with a high degree of accuracy whether their bank is safe.

It's called the "Texas Ratio" -- and it was developed by a financial wizard named Gerard Cassidy who used it to correctly predict bank failures in Texas during the 1980s recession, and again in New England in the recession of the early 1990s.

The Texas Ratio is determined by dividing the bank's non-performing assets by its tangible common equity and loan-loss reserves. Tangible common is equity capital less goodwill and intangibles. As the ratio approaches 1.0, the bank's risk of failure rises.

With only three exceptions, every bank that has failed in the second and third quarters has had a Texas Ratio greater than 0.90.

Using this highly accurate barometer of bank health, I've not only reassured myself that my own bank -- the highly excellent Amarillo National -- is safe and sound, I've also made a list of the 437 banks most likely to fail. Commentary: The translation is always a headache…but in my opinion it would appear that Alsumaria TV will host a show titled”As of Tomorrow” on Friday Oct 15th (10pm Baghdad time) which will debate the whole issue of dropping of the zero’s…looking at opinions offered by different economist. Should be interesting to say the least…
Perhaps this television program will shed some light on the CBI’s intentions, exchange rates, etc. Plus inform the Iraqi public of what is to come of their currency. Something to watch for sure if your a Dinar investor.

Iraq's Sunni-backed Alliance Indicates Willingness To Compromise

(AP) BAGHDAD (AP) - The Sunni-backed political coalition that narrowly won the most votes in Iraq's parliamentary election appeared Sunday to be giving up its demand for the premiership, boosting the Shiite prime minister's drive to keep his job.

The stunning turnabout is sure to inflame Iraq's minority Sunnis, whose crucial support helped the secular Iraqiya movement edge ahead of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's political coalition in the March 7 parliamentary election. U.S. diplomats worry that if the Sunnis feel sidelined by backroom dealmaking over the formation of a new government, it could spark unrest.

A key Iraqiya leader said Sunday the party is no longer insisting on receiving the top job as long as it gets an equal share of power in Iraq's government. It marks the strongest concession to date by Iraqiya, and could break the seven-month political impasse that has stymied Iraq from seating a new government.

"We have reached a position that we don't care anymore about posts," said Sheik Adnan al-Danbous, a Shiite who is close to Iraqiya chief Ayad Allawi. "Posts are not as important to us as having participation in decision-making."

Al-Danbous said Iraqiya could live with al-Maliki keeping his job - so long as the party gets other plum positions, like the presidency or parliament speaker.

"We don't mind if al-Maliki is the prime minister, but we have to have a decision-making post," al-Danbous told The Associated Press.

Marginalized in Iraq's power circles after Saddam Hussein's ouster and after boycotting the first round of elections in 2005, Sunnis joined with Iraqiya this year in hopes of regaining political strength and credibility. Sunnis make up the majority of Iraqiya, which is widely recognized as the largest and most influential nonreligious political alliance.

The party's leader, former Prime Minister Allawi is a Shiite.

Sunday's comments marked a surprising change of course for Iraqiya, which after the election appeared poised to lead Iraq away from hard-line religious politics and toward a more secular government.

Iraqiya won two more parliamentary seats than al-Maliki's bloc in the March vote, but neither won enough seats to control parliament outright, touching off a scramble to rally support from other political parties that has dragged on for more than seven months.

Al-Maliki also got a boost last month by forging an alliance with anti-American Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr that all but sealed the prime minister's hold on his job.

That, too, prompted an outcry from Sunnis, some of whom predicted the end of democracy in Iraq if al-Maliki remains in power.

Separately Sunday, two small Sunni political groups joined forces in hopes of wielding some influence in the ongoing power struggle. Though their new Iraqi Centrist Alliance only holds a combined 10 seats in parliament, its merger likely signals Sunni frustration with being left out of negotiations.

The new Sunni alliance will "include all political parties and all social components will be represented without neglecting anyone," lawmaker Salim Abdullah al-Jibouri said.

All U.S. military troops are set to leave Iraq by the end of 2011.

Meanwhile, Iraqi authorities said they broke up a Baghdad cell of the Islamic State of Iraq, an umbrella group for Sunni insurgents that is linked to al-Qaida in Iraq, and charged at least two of its members with orchestrating a series of bombings on foreign embassies in the capital.

Military spokesman Maj. Gen. Qassim al-Moussawi said the cell also coordinated a July bombing against the offices of Arabic-language news channel Al-Arabiya that killed six people, and another at an AsiaCell mobile telephone store last month.

Al-Moussawi showed videotaped confessions of two of the men, and said they led authorities to at least four other terror suspects. One of the men, identified as Sinan Abid Humod al-Janabi, described himself as an operative for the terror network's car-bombing sector in western Baghdad.

Seven years.

Seven years ago on Wednesday October the 15th 2003 the new Iraqi Dinar
was introduced to the world.

Seven years ago speculation on the future of the new Iraqi Dinar and
the future of it’s exchange rate was launched.

Seven years ago marked the beginning of the awakening of the mighty giant…mighty Babylon sleeping like a giant by the Euphrates River.

And now…the Giant stirs.

Speculation…..rumor….whispers an innuendo ….flow like wine into the cup of thirsty, parched speculators….cups which seem to never fill but remain always wanting, receptive and open for more…… always thirsting for just one more drop of information…be it fact or fiction…rumor or rant….all is accepted and some rejected but the unending thirst for information remains unquenchable.

7 years.

How much longer? Years? Months? Weeks?

How about…days?

Situation: We are now at the point where all of the political posturing is complete and this past week saw many very important meetings take place world wide.

And the interesting thing on all of these meetings is the lack of information being released and the vague if not blatant elusiveness being presented to the public on the final outcome and decisions which will very soon impact us all.

“Are we there yet”?

Answer: YES!

I speculate that we may see the final formation of the new Government of Iraq led by Prime Minister Maliki to be announced and seated as soon as this Wednesday the 13th with a high degree of probability of the actual seating of the Iraqi Parliament on Thursday the 14th. and an outside default date of the seating of government on Sunday the 17th.

But again this is just my speculation based upon all current events.

Next question….so how soon after the seating of the Government of Iraq will we see the announcement from the CBI about the Iraqi Dinar changes?

Answer: Very soon after. Time is running out for the CBI to have the change completed by the end of 2010…so time is an issue and an issue that bodes well for all investors of the Iraqi Dinar….for the ever ticking clock runs out on the Central Bank of Iraq as the the end of the year draws nearer by the day.

Again….”Are we there yet?”

After 7 years….the answer is finally….YES!
